BELGRAVIA is the story of a secret. A secret that unravels behind the porticoed doors of London’s grandest postcode. The story behind the secret will be revealed in weekly bite-sized instalments complete with twists and turns and cliff-hanger endings that will be delivered directly to your mobile, tablet or desktop via a brand new app. You can read it, or listen to it, or jump between the two.
Set in the 1840s when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche, Belgravia is peopled by a rich cast of characters.  But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. At the Duchess of Richmond’s now legendary ball, one family’s life will change for ever . . .
The app will be launched via this website in April 2016, with the first episode free to download. You’ll be able to subscribe to the full 11-episode weekly serial for £9.99/US$13.99 (both text and audio) or you can buy individual weekly episodes for £1.49/US$1.99 which will be delivered automatically to your device the moment they air every Friday. There will be extra material, videos and other bonus features hidden within each episode. If you would prefer to wait for the printed book, the £18.99/US$26.00 hardback will be published in June.
Belgravia is where up-to-the-minute technology meets with the age-old art of storytelling. You can find out more by watching the video above, then register to keep up with all the news and extra content that will be released between now and publication in April.

So in the meantime, waiting for this all to come into MY life, maybe yours...I will continue to stitch and wait for you to share some of your FAVORITE PERIOD books you like to read.... Please let me know title and author.... love 1920-1950's stories of romance and intrigue!

I am almost finished of this one, a new sleepover pillow pattern
and then I thought best to start my needlework for my footstool...

Will be off tomorrow to pick up more supplies...

and the boys are being well BOYS...
Sumo gave us another couple scares this weekend, but even through those episodes
we are learning to be less reactive and more proactive..
GEEEESH, they are both a handful but what is so sweet
is when Sumo's is not well, Monchat comes and cleans him up....

I am telling you they make me tear almost every day...
They are so close...

Here we were playing when they heard David driving into the garage...

Here - Sumo was playing peek-a-boo behind my coat...
As you can see, his nose his pink today... that is a good sign
and a good day..

And Monchat was playing under the table .... he is such a ham at times
and so darn loving.... They really teach us both to enjoy every moment
and treasure their antics...we do that and more....
Time to run, they are waiting patiently to be fed...
They are never far from one another, except when Sumo
gets up in the middle of the night and brings David a mouse this am....

Glad I was sound asleep...eeeekkk

    1. this will not be a series like D.A., it will be a book online that will shared once a week for 11 weeks with clues and maps and also we can hear it...not sure who is reading it...but it is something that is a brand new project for Jullian...cheaper than the book and a series to watch...lol So I am in Cori and yes I will just keep stitching lol

  11. A mouse, really, a mouse in the house, in the middle of the night! Where on earth did he find one at that time of night. I realize you live in the middle of nowhere, but I know you wouldn't allow middle of the night escapades outdoors without you being there. Hugs to you, David and the boys, who keep getting more handsome every week.

    1. Ohh I know all about the heat our kitties give off...and Jane Austen books I have read...loved them all..but I could certainly revisit them...and yes Belgrave will be on tape too...usually those are very expensive....it is worth a try anything that Jullian has written is surely a winner.

  14. If you wish to read more gently amusing books about English social manners, then I can heartily recommend E.F.Benson's Mapp and Lucia novels. There was a UK TV series but the books are subtler and more nuanced.
You may also like Angela Thirkell's Barsetshire Chronicles. I don't think any of them were ever filmed or adapted for TV.
Both series need to be read in order I think. Thirkell's in particular are a sort of time capsukle of the 30's, 40's and 50's in England.

    2. I thought Mapp and Lucia is playing on WETA UK?
Gosh, Maybe I just imagined it.
I need to check the schedule again

  15. Your boys are soooo sweet and I'm so happy, that both are doing well again! I know the feeling a cat brings a (nearly) dead mouse in your house. Once one of our cat brought a mouse inside and my sister found it in her shoe while slipping in. *gggg*
    Greetings, Rike
