WE need to smile a bit and dance a bit and ......

Our paperwhites are still in bloom, even after I trimmed them, they just kept blooming.
Pretty aren't they? Good thing you cannot  smell them though,  because you would not like them...
they are pretty pungent. Even the riot boys were not too impressed....
But they made for a a couple of weeks of NATURE VIEWING....
and I got some pretty photos....

We thought spring was finally here, well not so, WINTER has stirred in our area
and has hit us quite hard...A cold snap came whizzing by last evening and everything
is frozen this am. We will no doubt find some shelter and things to keep us busy
and as you can see our Riot Boys are not lacking in the JOY department.

Monchat displays such a keen sense of adventure and real sweetness.
Although they are constant entertainment for one another
he likes to be on his own during the day...
He is always the first to wake me in the morning...
He does not meow very much but likes to head butt me , very gently
in fact and looks at me with those blue eyes and just melts my heart...
He is always aware of Sumo watching and does not try to overshadow him..
Again, such sweetness..

Sumo on the other hand, wellllllll he is Sumo, he pretends he is above all the
love and affection but as soon as Monchat is out of the room, he wants to cuddle
and he is my talker, likes to have conversations with me and loves to bury his head
into my lap and bend of my arms...he is so tender....and oh so curious...

We still have daily routines and play times are lasting longer as they are now 5- 6 months old...
They are twice their size now and are outgrowing all their perches...
They love playing and sleeping on our bed, ( preferring us not to be in it)
at night, they sleep on their tower and during the day, nap on our bed and....

in the sink...they take turns, they are so funny to watch..
when it is too quiet I can always be certain to find them together...

Funny thing about these Riot Boys, they teach us to enjoy every moment,
they really slow down the pace for us....

Let's dance, treat yourself to this pretty amazing video!

  11. Hello Samm...I'm having a difficult time realizing that it's been that long since you brought those beautiful boys home. They not only provide you both with oodles of joy and love, but, through you, pass some of that along to us out here in cyber world. What treasures they are, and thanks for sharing them and their antics with us. I especially love the on in the sink. Hugs to you all.
