our "Riot Boys" are changing so much....( Ragdolls) and some Marketing pieces. Paper Ladies.

Step IN my world for a few minutes....
I have been a bit busy with a few designs, projects and marketing materials
all the while loving our RIOT BOYS and T-cup...
( more details below)

T-cup has been a gem, watching over the boys .....they certainly keep her alert!

I have been Hand Quilting this new CAT RUNNER for my Riot Boys and T-cup..., they wanted to pose with their likeness before I tackled this week's project. I thought I would get it done in 2 days but these boys keep me quite busy... I also have been designing marketing material for some quilting shops and Cori's Academy appearance soon....All requires some well thought of Designs....

Will show soon enough!

I always plan my year like a FORMULA, there are many ways to get to the end result,
lots of experimenting, lots of failures ( which I always applaud) as I know I will eventually
prevail. This year is no different.
Except for the fact our home is FULL of activity with our RIOT BOYS...
I just don't want to miss of their ever changing looks and lives..

Many of you remarked their changes...well I see them too..
possibly because I literally have taken thousands of photos...
Each week, they grown in my heart and soul...

Monchat has only been here less than 2 weeks, Sumo
almost 2 months....and I think of how much our lives
have changed...Through losses there is a happy NEW BEGINNING...

I have shared their personalities are so unique to one another..
Sumo has been under the weather since his vaccination shot...
and he has found comfort in my arms a few times a day...

He is fine today, but for 6 days, he had a fever, throwing up
and unsettled...Monchat would lay beside him and just provide comfort...
Even T-cup was concerned and would lie close by...

With all that love, I just knew he would be fine...
He will be neutered on the 25th....so we need to build up his health..

So we got them another new toy....seems this one is a hit...most of the time
Sumo just lays inside and rolls in it...Monchat is not that adventurous...
He prefers his toys..one is a fur ball that is his constant companion..

A couple times a day, we play on the bed, they love hide and seek behind pillows..
when I shriek, when they capture my fingers peeking from the fringe, they jump
and plunge again...such a RIOT.....
This is another of Monchats fav toys....we were playing tug a war here...he won!

And rest, welll they rest head to head most times...so tender, so sweet...

The other day picked up some chicken burgers from a fav classic spot...
line up is forever...they make designers burgers....

Well David squirted out some ketchup for his fries...and said
"you gotta take a pic of this" ...lol

Meanwhile I worked on stretching our December Paper Lady on a canvas and then
stitched some buffalo plaid trim around the whole piece..
Just gives it a nice touch and professional finish..

I tacked the back....takes a couple hours, but well worth the effort..
this is being shipped to Cori, for a class and her Academy appearance next month..

I also placed our LEGS called STEP IN onto a shoe box
anc trimmed it with stripped ribbon, matching the box...

( working on Pattern design today)

I am working on another set of LEGS for a Tammy bag...
will likely have that done by the weekend....

Sooooo I may not be HERE but I am HERE..
COMPLETELY...

and with a FULL HAPPY HEART..

Hope you are enjoying your January...

Check in with Cori to see what she has been working on...

Hint of what we are working on for this YEAR--- we have quite a SWEET 16 Year Plan
!

  6. This post is full of sweet treasures I don't know where to start... the boys are simply adorable! I am loving all the pictures of them. As for the runner, well, I will never know how you get these boys to be so cooperative. Those are amazing pics. The runner is looking fab btw. I just can't get over the fact that you are sending me these treasures. I think I am more excited about that than anything..lol. They are gorgeous, and I am so excited to share them with the ladies in my classes. I will try not to get too attached, but there is something about seeing something in person. Everything is always more beautiful in real life. However, you do a great job of capturing it for us. Your pictures are so beautiful. xx

  8. Sumo is adorable. He is soooo cute. Monchat is cute too.
    What sweet adorable faces.
I do not get the vaccinations for my boys anymore.... They make Pierro run a fever and I end up having to hydrate him with a syringe or subq bcause he won't budge.
I love the embroideries. Both of them are just sensational, and lovely. I love RED.

I love all of the photos you shared today.
Thanks for being so perky and happy. I have a tummy bug today so I am laying low. I will be all better tomorrow I am sure

    1. I hear you RosemaryBhere, Monchat is beautiful but Sumo has such a unique look which is so endearing. But you know their personalities are so sweet...tender, loving..hard not to love them completely. As far as vac's this is the last....I had to agree with these otherwise Sumo could not get neutered...but this yearly thing...well suffice to say, we will take our chances...we have not been lucky with regular visits with VETS. They seem to shorten our sweet fur balls lives....
To better days, hate hearing you are laying low.....xxx

  9. Samm, your beautiful boys are growing up so fast, just like our children, who are grown before we know it. They are both so gorgeous, but there's just something about Sumo that makes my heart go pitty pat, and you are so good about sharing them with all of us, and I thank you for that. It's wonderful that they all get along so well, because I've known people who have had to keep their cats separated from each other, which seems counter productive. You are such a talented lady and you almost make me wish I had an interest in stitchery, but not quite, even though they are delightful. I have my hands full with crocheting, sewing and quilting for 7, soon to be 9 great grandchildren. Hugs

    1. HI Sylvia. missed you..thought you had your fill of our riot boys....and yes Sumo is a dahling in every way....He has been quieter than usual. Dang VAC's.... we are watching him very closely....As far as doing it all...I do that, crochet, sew and quilt....I just find lately stitching keeps me still when the boys are resting... congrats to more grand babies...what a thrill of you x
