Let's take a peak at a new Eye glass pouch called "THE POPPY"....( Paper ladies, Riot Boys, Ragdolls)

For the longest time, I have been searching for a perfect pouch for my glasses..
you know a soft case to carry my many readers, sunglasses and eye wear....?
The only ones I could find were hard cases and those that were flat and would only
fit one pair of glasses.
WEll it took me a few days to perfect this soft eyeglass pouch
which we are calling the POPPY, as you will always remember your glasses"
and here she is...

The Poppy, fits in the palm of your hand and yet still has plenty of room
for even your largest pair of sunglasses.  And yes a ruffle and bow just completes it
perfectly. Feel inspired ?

I just completed a second one and added a satin bow to this one...
Sumo taking a peak at what all this fuss is about a POPPY!

It has a pouch on the outside to put your cleaning cloth or android!
and another pouch on the inside for a lipstick or another pair of glasses...
This wee pouch can hold 4 pairs of glasses...but we recommend only 2
and possibly 3 if you were going to place one in the outside pouch.
it is sooooooo perfect for me and anyone who has been looking for
the perfect eyeglass pouch...
Think "the POPPY"...

I am working on the pattern... should be ready early next week..
I am making up a few of them for some inspiration!

They will make perfect gifts for anyone who wears any type of glasses..
anyone who is looking for one pouch, that will hold your android, glasses and a tube
of your favorite lipstick...

I have ordered a few handles, as they require a heart shaped frame...I plan on making quite a few!
I am so inspired by all the wonderful fabrics that are popping up everywhere!
And speaking of inspiration this wee fellow who thinks he is a bunny this day..look at his hind legs on the sides and front paws in the middle...?
He is such a riot my wee fellow....He will be 5 months old
next week and he is almost 6 pounds....His brother below is a pound less...They are always within a pound of one another....Monchat now weighs nearly 5 pounds...
And if he has a heart murmur, you would never know it...
we are still hopeful, it was just a hiccup!
Monchat grows more affectionate with each passing day...his relationship with Sumo
is so touching and very brotherly...They are constantly together....they groom each other,
sleep together most of the day during their rest periods, chase one another up and down
the stairs during their wake time, eat together and like two young boys in
a school urinals...they go together...it is such a riot to see our "riot boys"  communicate,
bond, play and most of all I am almost positive they love us as much as
we love them...

They are both so different and yet very much alike....
A very dear friend asked me recently "was it because they are RAGDOLLS or is it because
their environment..".I think it is both...
But both David and I stop everything when it comes time to play...
They love affection and play time....and they constantly bring smiles to our hearts....

We are thrilled we decided on getting two ragdolls, a month apart..T-cup still enjoys their antics
but also retreats to a quieter area to enjoy the winter of her life...Our home is really so full of JOY!

At night on our mantel, I always light our beeswax candle..it seems to calm our "riot boys" down
for the evening... our days seem to be filled with so much excitement and surprises these days...

It has been a very quick week...did you find that too?

Well, a reminder to enjoy every beautiful moment...
As there are many...

Now I have to work on a couple more POPPY's and write up the pattern..!
Cheerio

  4. Samm, your Poppy is simply gorgeous! I can't think of a better way to carry around all those glasses, be it sun, prescription, or readers. I will love to have one of these on hand to put all of my glasses protected in one place. Great idea!!!
As for your boys, who are so loved by many of us, I couldn't help but to notice the presence of M...and S... in the photos.... hmmmmm... even your boys have your initials...lol. M, S, and Tcup.... now that is adorable. Little bunny Sumo stole my heart today....just look at him! What a sweetheart. xx

    1. Now I had never even thought of that Cori. and yes they have my inititals... I can assure you it was not intentional...Well the next cat runner I am doing is just with their initials... how cools is that? lol And yes these riot boys are so adorable...David and I both have been checking on Sumo's heart...it is certainly a low murmur, so he may very well grow out of it...and Monchat has no heart, all we ever hear from him are purr purrs lol. And yes the Poppy will be an asset for all of us who like to put things into things lol.

    2. I had to share these photos of your boys with mine...my oldest looks at that picture of bunny Sumo and starts laughing as he says..."That is the happiest cat I have ever seen! Look at his smile."...lol. He does have quite a smile in that last picture doesn't he!

    3. He is a happy cat, he really is...and he is happiest when we slow down our day and lounge on our loungers with them all laying on their name sake at our heads..

  5. Missie Samm, this bag is adorrrbs!
The boys are so cute, i love how they are growing. Do you have a rear general practice veterinarian in your neighborhood close by? or a veterinary cardiac specialist? You might get a better preassessment of your fellas health at this age, especially since you paid plenty to acquire each of them. They deserve quality care that is close to your house. Both of my cornish fellas see Dr Jarrett just down the street. Pierro has a murmur but it is stable.
I want to make a bag just like yours. I would love to use some of my favorite sweet fabric
    Love always and forever

    1. HI Rosemary B here....and yes we have a local vet, they actually have 3 at the moment, as I assesing them all....I want to be sure we have the best after what has already happened to us with Sumatra...We both have been monitoring Sumo all week, and his murmurs are very minimal and he sees another vet next week... so we are being worry parents to say the least....they are worth every penny... and yes I will be working on pattern and have it ready by next week...it is a bit different from the tammy and coin purse, a couple more added pieces but so worth it ....x
