|tomorrow tune in, if you want to feature your fav ornament|
For every tear there has been a smile! It happens this time of year. Watching the budding relationship of T-cup and Sumo-the synergy of the young and old would bring anyone to tears- tears of joy.
We certainly did not want T-cup who has loved us for 16 years feel we were pushing her out or that we loved her less. That could never happen. David keeps saying to me, " you have so much love Sparky, they feel it". It has been magical here.
We put the tree up, we have a couple trees, but this year we put up our small one only, ( 5 feet tall)
we thought it would be less of a mess should it come crashing down. David had this brilliant idea of placing it on a small table- and it works perfectly, Sumo has played with some ornaments that are not breakable on the lower branches- and after a couple of no's he was completely bored with that, preferring to play with his toy mice and springs and ohhhhh paper, let's not forget wrapping paper and tissue, he loves those most of all.
Sumo is now 15 weeks old and has been in our home for over 2 weeks and I can say without
any doubt he is absolute JOY every waking hour.
I love that he perks right up when I bring out my camera.
This photo was shot from the inside on the window sill of our window bench.
Love his reflection, I did not notice that until I loaded up the digital shots... Each day
we see a difference in him , especially size, although he is still very tiny.
I was taking photos outside and this is Sumo, wanting to come out in
our most incredible weather, we are 30 degrees above normal.
It was so warm yesterday, I could of sunbathed.
Sadly for Sumo, he is not allowed outside anytime soon.
This is our tree, although I will have many close up shots of our ornaments tomorrow
during our ornament linky party. If you would like to showcase some of your
favourite ornaments please join in.
Our tree was placed in a very large coffee cup. in french it has
small, medium and intervenous....
A subtle reminder that even a TREE can survive on caffeine..
However our tree is not a real one. With gas heat a real tree would
be a terrible fire hazard for us...
I purchased this designer tree almost 25 years ago, it still remains one
of my favourites. It seemed the perfect choice this year with a new kittens
in our home. I will be out today delivering some gifts and I have
christmas cards to take across the border for mailing.
So we will see how well our tree will survive without supervision.
WE were out on Sunday for a Christmas family gathering
and we were surprised to see both T-cup and Sumo on the window bench
upon our arrival. Everything in its place...they are getting on so well.
And speaking of favourites, although I am not a POP drinker
I do enjoy the commercials Coke puts out.
This is their newest one for Christmas..
It will just make you smile and have your heart swelling..
See you tomorrow..
