A lot of CUTENESS.....Ragdoll update!

Look at his wee tail....Monchat is really a perfect name for him!
He is 6 weeks old today.
( blue point)

Our hearts are open, we are ready for all this cuteness, our breeder Sandy tried to prepare
me but how could I possibly be ready for such FLUFF....I spilt my wine when I saw the latest
pics.....She did in fact warn me...she is such a grand lady lol

Both are so different, and each month for the next 2 years + both these ragdoll
kittens will change in colour and size...

They are just too cute to be BOYS.....although Sumo we agreed really looks like a BOY,
Monchat not so .....but I will take him anyway....as he is MY CAT (monchat in french)
For those who are still wondering how to say his name it's ( mo-shaw)

Sumo may very well be helpful gathering my yarn!
Sumo is 10.5 weeks old today.
( seal bi-colour)

Every day I miss  Sumatra, and memories still fall down my cheeks...
and at times it seems forever that she is gone from our home
and other times it still seems like yesterday..

I am not sure I will ever stop missing her...
David and I both agree, there will never be another Sumatra...
There will never be another T-cup...

We called Sumatra ( Sumo) for short...David was not ready to
get rid of her name.....As I wanted him to choose first name
he wanted Sumo for this wee fellow...he looks like such a BRUTE lol
not really but I can understand why he wanted that name...So Sumo it is,
and Sumatra will forever be part of our lives...

and Monchat...well, I said to him the next cat will be MINE..
so MY CAT ( Monchat) will be perfect. It came out of me so quickly
we knew it was perfect... x

We are ready for Sumo and Monchat and we will love them
as much as we know they will love us...

Our home and hearts are  so ready for them...
I do think they will be very CAMERA ready...

YOU think?

It is morning, when I put this post up last night, I was
certain, you would all think...
"ohhhhh no -more kittens pics?" and then I woke to find all
your sweet notes...
My heart is so full, full of emotion of saying goodbye
to our Sweet Sumatra who is there every morning in my mind...
and yet it helps to share our new family members with
you and I feel your excitement...so thank you sweet ladies...
I know we are ready for some pitter patter of wee feet
and bells, we already have their sweet collars...

and my camera is ready with 2 BATTERIES
so I can take many more photos..
only 11 more sleeps for Sumo...x

  2. They are such cute kitties! Last year we lost our much loved Burmese kitty, she was only 9 yrs old so too young to go, and it hurt so much to lose her that we didn't think we would get another cat. But we quickly realised that the house was just too quiet and lonely without a feline companion, so last December we were blessed to adopt a 12 week old Burmese kitten from the same breeder as our first cat, they were loosely related a few generations back. It was the best thing we ever did, I still miss Buggy but Yoshi fills my heart. I do find that I worry far more about Yoshi than I ever did with Buggy, if an hour goes by without knowing exactly where she is I have to go looking for her (I am sure she rolls her eyes at me every time I disturb her catnaps), and we have had a few unnecessary vet trips, but it's so hard not to worry!

    1. Hi 9 years old is young too to say goodbye, and I know about being protective, we constantly watch over t-cup and the boys will be no different..I am not sure I will be too quick to ever go to the vet though....I am very leary of them at the moment...x

  3. They are so adorable and you gave them the perfect names. I'm sure your heart will sing once you get to hear their purrs and look into their eyes.

I lost my Amber a little over a month ago. Her brother Riley was having such a hard time without her that I started looking for a kitten to fill the empty space in both our hearts. He had even stopped sleeping at the foot of my bed like he did when Amber was here. Last week I found the perfect little female and brought her home. She immediately won her place in my heart but Riley was a little harder to convince. It's been just a little over a week and today I found them sleeping together on my sewing table so I think he's finally decided that she's worthy of his attention.

She's been sleeping in the bed where Riley and Amber used to sleep together but still no Riley. After seeing them curled in a ball today I fully expect to hear them running up and down the hall tonight playing chase and then feel both of them at the foot of the bed sometime tonight. Rina

  24. I have had to say goodbye to 3 lovely girls in 2 years. It is so so hard. I keep telling myself that the pain is worth the happy years that I got to be their Mommy.
I have a fervent hope that I will be reunited with all my beloved pets when it's my time.
In the meantime I cherish my furkids every day and realize I could not be happy without pets.
So happy for you and wishing you well!
