Letting go of this season with GRATITUDE and celebrating- October Paper lady!

WEllllll I am here, with some regular schedule programming..
Like our October Paper Ladies....
.
Autumn has always been one of my most favourite seasons..
This year will be no different...

Fall is about letting go, as much as we all want to hold onto our favourite
season of summer,  we know it has an expiry date too.
I was sitting outside on the deck yesterday when the winds picked up
and this very warm breeze caressed my cheeks...
I watched as the leaves started feathering down to our lawn...
A reminder, that an end of season can be so beautiful and meaningful.

I am filled with Gratitude for so much!
There is so much more to look forward to..
Thank you for holding me up xx

We planted this Autumn Blaze last fall, she is almost 14 feet high already..
It will be a perfect shade trees in the years to come....

We have added many more steps to our patterns, so you too can get the same results..
How to use a hankie for instance..just fold one in half ( gives lots of fullness)
and stitch it down with INVISIFIL which Cori and I love ....hides all the stitches
and perfect thread for needle turn and eyelashes...more in patterns...

So here she is ready....I did her sweater in orange cashmere, which we have
plenty of for you too...even a brush to make it look so fluffy....

This pattern is available now, and I have already started on our November one..
OHHHHHHH she is s such a treat....

Ohhh and last night I even managed to do some GHASTLIES things to show
possibly by the weekend...

YOU so matter to me, thank you for all your tender
notes....xx

  6. Beautiful ladies. Love the cashmere sweater. Autumn is my favorite season too. I can't be anywhere that the leaves don't turn. I am grateful for every season and every day, Samm, and friends like you. I just finished my first quilt in months. We are expecting a new grandbaby in January. Life is good. Can't wait to see November and December.

  7. The cashmere sweater brings back memories. I have only owned one, gifted to me by a very special young man in my past. First love never dies!! Orange is one of my very favorite colors, though I prefer it soften up a bit to coral or salmon when I wear it. I love each and every Lady, whether cross stitched or applique.

And, I'm glad you are feeling better. Anticipation softens the pain.
    xx, Carol

  8. Autumn is alo my favourite season because of all the colours I see in nature. I love everything red and orange and all these colourful leaves on trees and shrubs are such a delight to look at.
