Ruffling a Hankie Keeper on Day 3 in Lilacs...

Yes Ruffles....this one had to have some ruffles...on both sides no less...
Ok, they most certainly should come with a warning...
Making these lovely little hankie keepers are addictive..
I have already chosen the collection for tomorrow...

But today let's reflect on these lilacs...
This one is for a special lady who says she does not like lilac
but seems to quilt in these colours at times with impact....

Ohhh but before I show you the hankies I chose, did you see
Cori's yesterday all dressed in PINK...OMG they are gorgeous...
and she has been crochet little sea creatures...now she has that
over me, since I don't crochet yet...but I have signed up for some
fall classes... meanwhile I have a slew of hankie keepers to make
for Christmas gifts...

link to see more of her beautiful pics..
I wander what she is up to tomorrow. I am not saying a PEEP !

I gathered a few LILAC hankies I had...seems I have a large collection of these
in one box...some came by some very special ladies too..
I love this gathering...
they bring a TEAR they are so pretty..

So I  settled on these 3... all so unique and all in a delicate cotton that just shouts vintage...

I have more hankies coming, I put a shout out to some of my girlfriends
who are estate auctioneers, Julie called yesterday and she has a couple boxes
full for me...YEAHHHHHHHHHH!  They will be here by the weekend...
that means more on the line and more pressing....

Meanwhile I have quite a few orders to get out today for MUFFIN to LOSE
and the day is quite cool, so there will be some much needed BREW on
for my crew... Brrrrrrrrrrr.....

I just so happen to have a lilac cup to match our perfectly suited day...

Check with MUFFINTOLOSE.ME to

about CHEEZ WHIZ,

This is my fuel for the next 4 HOURS~  although I so miss CHEEZ Whiz from my youth
that was made with REAL CHEESE

  3. Another oh so pretty one. I love the pansy hankies you used... they are one of my favorite flowers because they always look so happy.

It's cool here too this morning. When I went for my walk, the air felt more like fall air than middle of July air.

I really need to collect some more hankies, because I don't have nearly enough to match up three. Just look at all of those pretty purple hankies in that holder, and what a beautiful display. You are the envy of us all with this amazing collection of hankies Samm! Each day I just cannot wait to see what beauties you will showcase. Now I am off to create yet another.......xx

  9. Adorable Missie Samm. I love the ruffles too.

Cheez Whiz is gross. We never ate it here, along with Velveta Cheese. just disgusting stuff.
My daughters never knew about it bc I was a ..... well, we did eat cheese puffs. And many other things.
there is so much junky food out there, you really can't eat it all, so choose wisely -- or pay later

I really love these little purses,

    1. well it never seemed gross when I was a kid...I actually spoke to the food scientist today. Dean said it was made with cheese and then years after he retired, they chose cheaper ingredients and a saving in ingredients changed it all together to what he calls axle grease today lol.
cheese puffs..oh my ....don’t let me tell you about those lol
