Hankie Keeper day 2 and I am getting fingerprinted..

( I think she is making a RED one today or late last night...wink)

I chose these 2 hankies to make this one.....
Again--- made from some vintage linen hankies
and the colours are glorious...

There is something so nostalgic about this combo...

This one above was made from this hankie for the outside and below
I had just enough from my August Paper lady to
make this lining...
Not one smidgen of treasured hankie was lost...

I stuffed her with yet another vintage hankie in the same hues..
Yet another Christmas gift completed..

Tomorrow it will be in Lilac colours...
I have just enough hankies for that one...

40 coloured photos every step on how to make your very own.

Ohhhh I am off to a couple meetings
and one of them is getting FINGERPRINTED and I have
never committed a crime, ok maybe some broken hearts here and there..
but nothing so BAD that I need to be fingerprinted...

My stomach is in a knot this morning...it is the weirdest feeling
like when you see a police officer following you for miles....
( oh it has happened)

that feeling....Ohhhh I am getting it done so I can cross the border
with ease and no delays..I passed all the other tests...
I am a  pretty decent honest to goodness Canadian...
so I suppose they want to be assured I stay that way..

Ok, I am off and riding  but not before my Breakfast of choice
in a complimentary coffee MUG matching my
Hankie Keeper...

I bringing an extra one for my companion too, in case
we get delayed somewhere....

To a bright day may you shine in brilliance...oh you too, creative ladies.. wink..

  3. What sweet hankies! I love that color combination. It reminds me of sweet, frilly little girl dresses I had as a child. It also reminds me of my grandmother. She must have had hankies similar to that!
Good luck today getting your fingerprints! ;)

  6. Another pretty addition to your gift box! Cori's is sooooo sweet too.

No need to be nervous about getting fingerprinted... been there, done that a few times over the years for various trips out of the country and once for a security clearance. All it does is prove that you are uniquely you... but everyone who reads your blog already knows that. :)

    1. stressful OMG.....I was a mess..waiting, thinking maybe someone is pretending they are me and doing bad things... when aI police officer came in and stared at me, I thought I would faint...lol
Turns out there are a few characters that have done crimes that actually come in forgetting they have committed a crime uhhhhh I was quite educated today lol

  11. Samm you are so funny. :) I've been fingerprinted many times - all school people are periodically. But I've typed and stitched for so many years that I don't have much of a fingerprint left! They now have to do mine on a computer to get any ridges at all. Love the hankie holder - adorable. blessings, marlene
