A hankie keeper for CHRISTMAS giving! YOU will need 3 HANKIES...

A hankie keeper, well I can say with all honesty,
I was not thinking of this when I first made it....
But it is a perfect keeper for my Hankies....of course I would have to make quite a few of them
to keep my hankies ( note below only some of my boxes of vintage hankies)

This one was made from one  vintage LINEN hankie and the inside lining was made with another
linen hankie that is all white..

I added a satin bow with an additional pearl and I have to say it is as cute
as a button ..

These will make perfect CHRISTMAS gifts this year..
A hankie little keeper and tucked inside a matching or co-ordinating
hankie....

You will need one hankie for the outside
one hankie for the lining
and one to tuck in...
( what a wonderful gift idea)

This is my plan this week...I have a few friends
who will no doubt treasure this little treasure...

* 40 coloured photos

I like this one so much...I may have to keep it for ME!

For those asking about my Hankies...here are some of the boxes
that are almost full..
I have another couple boxes that have just whites and ivories..
Each box has different colours...

I think I have a few to choose from for some
HANKIE KEEPERS...

And here is my attempt at making a new CLOTHES PEG BAG...
but I am not IN LOVE with it...so I have another PLAN for my Pegs...
I have to walk away from it for now...I will join Sumatra and stroll
our gardens....

Our Hydrangeas are in full bloom now...note
some cosmos at the bottom of photo..
It is just beautiful here this morning..

And our heads of lettuce are ready to eat...they are as sweet as
the earth...hard to go back to market quality once you
have experienced fresh greens from your own garden...

I have never been a fan of head lettuce, but that has changed now...
after having it from here...I think we will keep growing it...
WOW!

And our daisies are still budding and flowering..so pretty this am...

Now I must sit back for a few moments and enjoy one of my most favourite times of the day..
BREAKFAST....I have a lot of packages to get out today
so after my PICK ME UP....I will be thinking of all of you
who have joined us on the MUFFIN TO LOSE Crusade...

Isn't your life already sweeter, just thinking of the NEW YOU?

  3. The Hankie Keeper is the cutest thing ever. I would have never thought of using a vintage hankie that way. Love your garden pics, as always. Not a fan of head lettuce either, but have to say never had home grown head lettuce. My favorite store bought lettuce is green leaf.

Your garden is gorgeous as always, getting more beautiful every day. I love lettuce. I have been known to eat a whole head of lettuce....like potato chips....lol. The kids make fun of me all the time, because they think I am so weird, but I do love lettuce, always have....and yours looks delish!!! xx

Hanging clothes or anything outside is FORBIDDEN in The Broadlands lololololol
but I do hang stuff up in my laundry room because it has a sunny window. :-P not the best, but whateverrrr

    Happy Monday.
It is so humid here. Summer....

We are not allowed clothes lines...when we move back...I will have a real clothes line. Last week I won an embroidery pattern from Blueberry Backroads called 'Grandma's Backyard'. I'm using it to make a third clothes peg bag...all with a different clothes line design embroidered on the front. Have a wonderful day...talk to you soon...xop

  16. Oh my goodness! I just love your New Design for a Hankie Keeper, I can't wait to try it!! The Boxes look just like you too! So Pretty! I like your clothes pin holder, my daughter uses them I should try and create something for her to put them in too. Our HOA doesn't allow Clothes lines, and with 12 foot Arborvitae around our properties they can't see what's in our yards anyway, but with Hubby on the Board I thought best to stick to the rules and use the Vintage Drying Racks...you know the kind that look like Hurdles?
Thanks for sharing a picture of my favorite Cat too!!
    Have a Beautiful Day!!
