Had some time to complete yet another Paper Ladies 1/2 doll pin cushion...

This lady will be shipped very soon. She is 1/2 lady I found on EBAY, she is over 100 years old.
and cute as can be. She really wanted to be in BLUES, I had some fabric, not much but enough
for this doll from a vintage collection from Lecien and with the added cotton lace and organza,
she came out so lovely...

I made some new DESIGNER PINS to go with it ....buttons from Shellys buttons...
Ohhhhhlook the bird, and body shape and heart and spool button, very befitting for this lady who
also loves birds...

I was at an event last week and the prices for buttons were over double that she charges...so I appreciate her even more now...wink....Always did, just more...She has some new DISNEY buttons now too...some are on their way...

This is what I started with....
a 1/2 doll....again over 100 years old for her....she is an original.

She stands under 3 inches....
I am still working on the pattern, really hoping to have it completed
by FRIDAY.....

It will include 3 methods how to turn a 1/2 lady into a PIN CUSHION...

Here she is before her pins were made and added....

EACH PAPER LADIES PIN CUSHION will have a 4 perfect PINS to add ....

The lady who will had her eyes on this  is more than pleased....
We are happy she will be the 2nd person to own one...

WE will add all the links to find these ladies....Cori
and I are also working on a collection...my doll supplies
are on their way...

She is just beautiful.....I want one like that....wink..

Have to run for a meeting..!

Oksana has many talented friends...come and see

  2. A lovely half lady that now has been even more lovely, as she can stand for herself and with her beautiful dress. She is a real blue beauty. I haven't seen half ladies here in Sweden.

  11. Oh, she's so pretty!
I had three of these antique pin cushion ladies. One was o my about 3" high with the pin cushion skirt on! It had been my mother-in-law's as a child. It was given to her by family members, so there's no telling how old it would have been. The other two were similar to yours. Some of these old ideas were really good ones!

  16. I am beyond excited to see your doll. I have 2 in perfect condition that were in the bottom of several box lots that I purchased for 1.00 at an auction. You gave me inspiration to put a beautiful skirt on them.
