try not to yawn...

It may not look like I am doing anything...but trust me I AM...
Although these past few days have found me yawning a bit...
I have been stitching for hours...

( my print up there...one David and I did up a few years ago when
we embarked on obtaining our PPFA distinction..)
Professional Picture Framers Association....

With all the stitching I did in those days, and framing costs that were prohibitive...we became
our own framers... now that I have picked up x-stitching once again...
I think I will keep him busy making  some new frames ....

I have been in my office designing new patterns, see all that gingham....
wellllll the Bufalo Plaid that is on its way , well can I say, x-stitching will be part of
the design too...yep...

WE lost power yesterday for a bit, so both Sumatra and I, snuggled on my day bed...
T-cup stayed in her cat bed.... I drew my patterns the old fashion way with pencils and pads...

Doesn't she look regal ....red is her colour too...She has her winter coat still so she looks
sooooo puffy....

Ok, must run, I have supper to make...
my beloved is on his way home....

I have red black and white in my head..I wonder why....lol

  1. Samm, do not worry, I am not yawning at all, too much going on, LOL! Ach, these cats are so gorgeous, my black Diva is also looking so puffy. Hubby says she's looking like that because she's fat.... Well, I have to agree she has too much on the rips, but she is also puffy, LOL

  2. I'm staying busy here - just finished the last of the hand stitching for my We Support You project. Today I'll put it together and maybe take a few pictures. There's another gorgeous sunrise this morning and, thankfully, we do have power so I'm warm and cozy! blessings, marlene

  3. I am just stitching away here in NC - weather temps are making it easy to stay inside for a few days. No comparison to what you have been experiencing - but we will take this any day. Told Mr. C I really missed the snow of Colorado - he just laughed at me. Been stitching on my sewing ladies - already have six done (over the last three years) and have two more to go. Hugs and light to you. Judy C in NC

  5. Can't wait to see what you have been designing Samm. There is nothing better than a pencil and paper when designing. Some things can only be expressed that way. You're just taking vintage to whole NEW level.....*wink* Your room is looking as beautiful as ever, and I just love a fellow DIY-er. It is amazing what you can learn when you tackle a project and let nothing get in your way. We are cut from the same cloth....looking forward to seeing what you do next! xx ~Cori

  6. Looking forward to seeing your designs. I looove Buffalo checks but I think I've already told you that. :) In my office, not only is my computer there, but also my sewing machine. If I just had a bed in there I'd have no reason to leave....sorta. lol

So you're also a framer? 😊 Is there anything you can't do?
