Flannel hop with 3 fat flannel bundles .....

My flannel project of baby nightie...

Recently that other lady ( Carol)  and our very TWEET Deonn
and I participated in a flannel hop with RBD....
and we were pretty surprised we did not make the top 5 ( not really) .....
They just highlighted the last 5 ladies of their hop..

We certainly put our BEST forward  and we were 3 of the 16 ladies who
showed you all what to do with FLANNEL....
and WE did WIN you know....WE got to participate with
some pretty clever ladies...and we all created something that meant
something WARM to our hearts.... and possibly warm yours too...

Tomorrow RBD ( Riley Blake Design) will be giving away 3 Flannel fat quarters on their FACEBOOK page...

LET RBD know how much WARMTH THEY do bring into our LIVES....

A WARM reminder of what OUR LADIES brought to life....

This was Carols very cute ensemble...

and Deonns complete with PJ bottoms and high flying  pillow....

and the some of the top 5.....
and there were more...so go check them out
and cheer for them....
They will be sooooo surprised you did....

  3. Love that soft, cozy flannel. These projects are amazing and I want to make one of each. RBD has the best flannel...I have a little of the gingham flannel just waiting for me to make a little gown. Now I just need someone little around to wear one...lol

  7. Your little baby gowns are so adorable! I've been in the hill country where we had a cold front. Although it certainly wasn't cold enough for snow, flannel would have been very welcome! I have such fond memories of little flannel gowns when I was a little girl!

  8. I really messed up on that hop. Thought I did a good job of keeping up but I missed a lot of days. Can I blame it on my uber busy 1 yr old grandson? I went and checked out what I missed, cheered for each and am glad I did. I am trying to be better about cheering, I learned that since finding Sew We Quilt. Before that, I really didn't think anyone wanted to hear from a stranger. Live, learn and grow. :)

  10. I love, love, love flannel....I got out my flannel sheets yesterday since our night time temps have dropped. And I love using flannel instead of a batting, and I sometimes even back my embroidery with it before stitching. :) You ladies made some beautiful things! blessings, marlene

  13. Looks like I may need flannel again. Haven't needed it for the last 12 years in Arkansas and Texas but Illinois promises to be a bit chilly in comparison. Great projects from all of you and boo on not making the top 5. You should have!
