day 9 see you in september

What WOWED us in TEXAS Style on Friday!

See you in September reminds me so much of my teens...
I loved school and September meant new beginnings...

That is what we will be celebrating for the next two weeks..
NEW BEGINNINGS with all of YOU....

Shari has been an exceptional cheerleader through the summer..
always cheering everyone on, I have seen many notes
she left to all of you ....such an inspiration she has been
and a pretty great campaigner for our GINGHAM with RBD...
The medium collection has been saved...YEAHHHHHHH!

Check the side bar for the list she has put together of some
very talented ladies... ( or link here for the schedule)

Here are those we will be cheering for today.....all of them will be showcasing 3 projects
they worked on over the summer... One of their projects had to be something with
GINGHAM....so for all you GINGHAM lovers ( me included) I just know
they will be inspiring so many of us...

WE have such talented, inspiring over the top WOW ladies...
I adore them all and filled with GRATITUDE they are in our

Monday, September 15
My Quilting Journey
( be sure to visit Malini...her name was omitted
on some of the links)

They all get so excited when they see a NOTE from you..
so be sure to share your delight with them....YOU HAVE no idea
how that sweet note can make such a difference...
They are WORDS OF "WE CARE"....

CAN I just say, WOW to all of you...
REALLY, could I ever stitch as many projects as some of you.?
Never...but HOW we LOVE seeing them and being so inspired....
Thanks again for a GRAND DAY!

What WOWED US...

I know it is GINGHAM, but it is a RAINBOW SKIRT
and it is pretty and how I wish I could wear it myself...
What child would not be filled with PURE JOY to wear it..
everyone would be smiling at her .....

What filled us with CREATIVE DELIGHT

This Lady had 2 CREATIVE projects, just could not pick over the other..
SO SHE TIED for CREATIVE....this is a first....
Her use of Gingham almost mimics dots....

and her square ruler centrepiece block is very creative indeed...

YOU matter!

Link HERE as gentle reminder what to expect from this blog hop...

And a FLANNEL HOP , well it will just warm
you up to the idea..

  1. Madam Samm...the link for Malini's blog is incorrect. I finally visited her by using the link on the photo of her skirt. Just didn't want anyone to miss it!

  2. Another fun day of gingham! There was so many summer sewing projects today.

  3. Vicki's quilt looks beautiful at the top of your post! Another great day!

  4. What a fabulous way to start the day ! That is my favorite picture of the Vintage Cowgirls. Thanks Carol !

  5. I have to Ditto Carol with Vicki's Quilt. Great projects to kick off a inspiring week!! Since we started this Hop I have been seeing Gingham everywhere! The past 4 days I saw so much of it in Children's Apparel in such a wide range of yummy Colors. These pieces were all from New and Current Children's Apparel Designers. What an amazing comeback this classic is making in Children's Apparel. Great to see it!!
    Huggs, Nancy

  6. Another great day. I have been reading everyone's post while having my morning coffee. What a great way to start my day. I could not find Malini's post, though. I tried using the like on her skirt, but no luck. Please appoligize for me. Thanks

  7. Such great projects again....love the quilts!!

  8. Have to say it will be a sad day after tomorrow's posters. Love the picks again today.

  9. The malini's quilts link does not work...you need to add in the www
    Here is the correct link...

    1. thank you ladies.....our link is working....really appreciate your efforts too

  10. That skirt was a WOW alright, the colors were so bright, and the quilt and table runner were a great show today.

  11. Nancy's comment made me think of the weekend. The men were being sized for tuxedos for the wedding and the men's clothing store owner was wearing a very nice gingham shirt. I should have complimented him on it.
Another great day! Great summer projects.

  12. I'm late for the party (no internet yesterday), but I caught up today. What a group of projects! It seems that almost everyone was an overachiever! Wow!

You think they are just words...they are sew much more than that...your wee messages tell me, you are kind, smart and important...
