But we all know these RELIABLE IRONS are not just any iron and our Quilting and Sewing MUMM's are anything but ordinary....They deserve the best....

Sooooo our dear friends at Reliable...(they are sooooo Reliable and never forget YOU) they wanted to offer 3 of their IRONs ( in this lovely bouquet)  on MOTHERS Day -3 winners . Each one will get a different iron AND they are all superior....

Take a peak at each one..... from left to right we have V100, V50 and the New Sensor V200

I still love Velocity 50.....the ORANGE ONE ( although I dream of a RED ONE)....steams like a facial... wellll I actually sourced out my review on July 13 2011....I still have the ORIGINAL and I still feel the same about it.

Hello Reliable, After 37 irons my search is over. First the color, can we talk about that -LOVE ORANGE, ok, features, love that it is heavy but it glides like an egg over butter in a hot iron pan...mmmmm, And can we talk steam...it is power steam, two irons over even linen, wow no wrinkles.. You would think this is a bit much talking about an iron like it was a fine glass of merlot...but really, I have drank many glasses crying over BAD irons in the past...I will raise my glass all 5 feet of me over my head...LOVE THIS IRON... Bye bye Bad IRONS< HElllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo Reliable... x

  43. I'd be thrilled with any of these irons. I watched their little video and they have an option so that the iron doesn't shut off..... I'd love that, instead of always shaking mine and getting it to heat up again. If I could pick a color, I'd pick a bright green one! Of course, I'm a happy follower. Thanks so much for this opportunity to upgrade my iron!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Let's see, I think a hot pink (flamingo) or yellow (daffodil) would be great color choices. I have seen you write about these and would love to have the opportunity to try one. The orange one would probably best suit my needs. I don't iron clothes, just quilt fabric! Got to get those priorities in order!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Any color would be great although I am partial to greens. I would love one for the sewing room.

    I follow reliable on Facebook.

  57. I need a new iron sooooooo bad. I had an expensive name brand iron that last just over a year.I loved it. I glided over the fabric until it started to leak. It leaked so bad every time I tipped it to use it about 1 tbsp of water poured down my leg. I have also seen online that they sometimes burn up.I emailed the company and was told I was SOL. So I bought a mid priced iron. It is about 1 1/2 years old and it leaks really bad and isn't as hot as it used to be.I would love any color iron that just works like a good iron should. Although purple or hot pink would be my favorite!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think an aqua iron would be pretty! I like the V50.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I would love a new Reliable iron and it wouldn't matter which model, they all look great. A pink, yellow, or blue iron would be awesome! I followed Reliable on Facebook and I get your posts on Feedly.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I just bought a Walmart iron because my Rowenta wants to pee on my fabric every time I go to use it and leaves brown spots a lot of times. Makes me so mad! grrr I really need a good iron... Santa, can you help me. :)

I would love a pink iron but would take any color if it was gifted to me.

    ReplyDelete
  63. My choice would be the Sensor V200, However I am torn because the V100 has a slightly larger water capacity. If I could have a Reliable iron in any color I wanted, I would choose purple.

    ReplyDelete

  133. Thanks for the shout out for Mothers' Day! I love all the colors, truly. We iron a lot here, so good steam and consistent hot surface are a must. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Send whatever you chose to me :-)

  134. I am not on Facebook so will like Reliable Irons right here. I do follow your blog and love to see all your wonderful ideas and I was glad to see your endorsement since I am tired of leaky irons. I went to their website and watched the video and now understand why this should be superior. I am definitely a red person. I think the 50 would work for me as I love a heavy iron. I am hoping for a lucky day here.

  135. I really like that light blue V200. Would love to have an iron to give to my daughter who has caught my sewing and quilting bug!

  136. How sweet of Reliable to do this drawing again! Three people are going to be very happy. Are we supposed to suggest colors, not that there is anything wrong with the ones they have. Red, purple or aqua would be my suggestions---and oh, lime green. That orange is pretty too.

  151. At the moment I would be happy with any of their irons! mine was a hand me down, it still works great, however the steam does not. there is no longer a temp knob and the front is missing a piece- I was pricing new ones this weekend. I would LOVE a red iron :) it would match my bedroom/craft room :)

Thanks to you and Reliable for the great giveaway!

  152. If I were to pick one, I would pick the Sensor V200. I do a lot of other sewing besides quilting and I think that this would fit my needs better, but any one would do. If I could pick a color for my iron - hmm, its hard - love all the jewel tones. Too bad you couldn't change the color like depending on your mood. Thanks for the giveaway.

  153. Dear Reliable, I love the idea of steam happening by pressure on the handle. I would love an iron that doesn't spit or leak, especially since I work on fabrics other than cotton since I sew garments besides quilts. Thanks for the giveaway.

  156. Wow, I really like the features on these irons. I had never really looked at them until this post. I think I like the Digital Velocity 100 the best. Like the idea of the motion steam and steam ready features. I would love my iron to be fuschia but would take any color of one of these beauties. Thank you for the give away opportunity and the introduction to Reliable Irons.

  162. Oh, are we supposed to make separate comments on each of your numbered items. I went to Reliable's Facebook page and liked them there. Too bad the spring cleaning giveaway is over. Would have loved that one, especially if it came with labor!

    ReplyDelete
  163. I would love the 200 (always wanting the top of the line), but all of them look wonderful. I do love the white and blue color of that one. I suppose if I were choosing my favorite color, I would choose a white or ivory -- don't want anything to distract me from the lovely fabric colors.

  164. I follow you on BlogLoving, and sometimes have to jump directly to your page from my browser. Thanks for all you do. You and the ladies are a great inspiration to me, and am glad I found you a few months ago. When (if) I start blogging, want to enter one of your blog hops!

  165. I want to tell Reliable that I love the powerful steam features of their irons. Have never understood how anyone could iron or press without steam, although I know many quilters who swear by a dry iron. And I absolutely love the ability to turn off the automatic shut-off. As a quilter who sews, jumps up to press, sews some more, presses some more, an automatic shutoff can be a real pain in the patootie.

I hope you don't have to be a mother of children to enter this giveaway. I could claim to be a mother of many things; unfortunately kids aren't among the list.

  179. I think it just might be my day - hoorah!!! My iron just went "capush" (my made-up word). I was thinking about asking for one for mother's day or maybe "so it's a wonderful day to buy my wonderful mother a 'just because' present".

Please pick me for a wonderful Reliable Iron as I do have a lot of other things on my list that the kids need to buy me. I would really need one of the blue ones - now if they come out with RED, please automatically sign me up - as RED is my new forever color. Hope your day has been delightful and full of sunshine. Judy C sends hugs....
