Flags on a STICK day 3

I want to fly a kite.....please tell
me I will get that chance this summer...

Nothing for me besides PICNICS screams summer
like kite flying...

Doesn't this one look like something a young family
would have on their property?

It all started with our delightful neighbours ( Bob and Darlene)  who
seasonally add FLAGS ON A STICK
that always has me smiling when I drive by.
So when I got home after seeing her Christmas one,
and lo and behold someone had a company with
that exact name…. Yes, totally freaked me out!

Of course then I am already thinking-- BLOG HOP!
I am already thinking "WE can design our very own FLAGS"
I am already thinking " Maybe you too will want to play"

Yep that is what I was thinking… ( my creative muscles have
been- well shall we say…sparkling…my DH calls
me sparky- now you know why)

OUR cheerleader for this hop is no other
( link to schedule)

She knows all about waving FLAGS, she is a great
cheerleader and keeps us all waving back and forth...

She always has great ideas for projects and no doubt
will have us in the PINK with her new flag.....

NOW get ready to cheer our ladies who will also
be waving FLAGS....leave them comments...
you have no idea how that can be reciprocated
into creating a LOVELY day for someone....

FOR THOSE who will be needing FLAG POLES after this event....

 I have 2 choices for you…

Obviously Flagsonastick has some….
here is their link...

( they are both our sponsors for this event
and we thank them with many WAVES of our FLAGS)

Flags on a Stick
( think flags. think this company)
She has amazing flags for every season, every occasion
they are bright, they are cheery, they will make you smile...

As we always provide some  choices..

HERE is another… I came across this POLE company
that has some very interesting unique finials on the poles
The GENTLEMAN I spoke to really GOT we are doing…
His role will become known during our HOP…

of course they would have a HEART

I know of at least one lady who will be showing her HEART
and new FLAG.

nooo not a STAR

I know of at least one lady who will be showing a STAR
with her NEW FLAG

is that a LADY BUG ?
( I know of at least one lady who will be showing her lady bug
with a NEW FLAG On it)

OHHHH ONE  more thing….

I would also like to convey, that it is a possibility
if any of YOU create and design an OUTSTANDING FLAG
the owner of Flagsonastick will share your idea with a company
that manufactures her FLAGS….
and you could someday have a REAL FLAG on the market!

So what are you waiting for?
( of course after YOU design one)

Another WAVE flying day...
YOU are alll so inspiring....
so thank you all for putting your stitches
to the wind....( and or snow) ..

This flag could have been for both WOW and CREATIVITY
the use of some muted colours and background looks like
a painting.....note the wee banner flags on the balloon. SO CLEVER!

This lady wanted her neighbours to see she was a Quitler/SEWER....no mistaken this is
a flag, but her pole is buried deep in a 3 foot dropping of that white stuff..
GREAT theme and colourful and creative inspiration of a
quilters flag....

  2. Yes, it would be difficult to choose today! Lots of fun out there!

  3. With all the yucky weather going on, today's flag wavers managed to make the day a little brighter. So many beautiful flags!

  5. Great flags again today! Each day brings more fun.

  6. "Let's go fly a kite.
    Up to the highest height"
