I love being a A TREE, so what and who are you….pick quick….

PERSONALITY TEST :: Look at the tree and choose the one that is immediately most appealing to you. Don’t think about it too long... just choose one and find out what your choice says about your personality below. Post the number you chose in the comments.

I came this across again just recently, I did this for my team
when I was working in Big Pharma. Funny enough
the results were still the same for me.
I thought it would be interesting to HEAR your RESULTS.
Do you agree?

( not surprising mine is …..) tell you below….

1. You are a generous and moral (not to confuse with moralizing) person. You always work on self-improvement. You are very ambitious and have very high standards. People might think that communicating with you is difficult, but for you, it isn't easy to be who you are. You work very hard but you are not in the least selfish. You work because you want to improve the world. You have a great capacity to love people until they hurt you. But even after they do. . . you keep loving. Very few people can appreciate everything you do as well as you deserve.

2. You are a fun, honest person. You are very responsible and like taking care of others. You believe in putting in an honest day's work and accept many work-related responsibilities. You have a very good personality and people come to trust you easily. You are bright, witty and fast-thinking. You always have an interesting story to tell.

3.You are a smart and thoughtful person. You are a great thinker. Your thoughts and ideas are the most important. You like to think about your theories and views alone. You are an introvert. You get along with those who likes to think and learn. You spend a lot of time, thinking about morality. You are trying to do what is right, even if the majority of society does not agree with you.

4. You are perceptive and philosophical person. You are a unique, one soul of your kind. Next to you there's no one even slightly similar to you. You are intuitive and a bit quirky. You are often misunderstood, and it hurts you. You need personal space. Your creativity needs to be developed, it requires respect of others. You are a person who clearly sees the light and dark sides of life. You are very emotional.

5. You are self-assured and in charge. You are very independent. Your guiding principle in life is 'I'll do it my way.'. You are very self-reliant and know how to stay strong for yourself and the people you love. You know exactly what you want and are not afraid of pursuing your dreams. The only thing you demand from people is honesty. You are strong enough to accept the truth.

6. You are kind and sensitive. People relate to you very well. You have many friends and you love helping them. You have this warm and bright aura that makes people feel good when they are around you. Every day, you think about what you can do to improve yourself. You want to be interesting, insightful and unique. More than anybody else in the world, you need to love. You are even ready to love those who don't love you back.

7. You are happy and unflappable. You are a very sensitive and understanding person. You are a great listener who know how to be non-judgmental. You believe that everybody has their own journey in life. You are open to new people and events. You are highly resistant to stress and rarely worry. Normally, you are very relaxed. You always manage to have a good time and never lose your way.

8. You are charming and energetic. You are a fun person who knows hot to make people laugh. You live in a state of harmony with the universe. You are spontaneous and enthusiastic. You never say no to an adventure. Often, you end up surprising and even shocking people. But that's just how you are. . . You always remain true to yourself. You have many interests and if something proves of interest to you, you will not rest until you acquire a profound knowledge of this area.

9. You are optimistic and lucky. You believe that life is a gift and you try to achieve as much as possible and put this gift to the best use possible. You are very proud of your achievements. You are ready to stick by the people you care about through thick and thin. You have a very healthy approach to life. The glass is (at least) half full for you. You use any opportunity to forgive, learn, and grow because you believe that life is too short to do otherwise.

                                                             I am #1…..totally me…lol

Need your HELP!!!

What would you think of
Don't let the- DOOR STOP YOU ( blog hop)
in conjunction with Handmaids blog hop…

As we have not stirred enough shops as of yet
to bring some fabric in, why not have
some DOOR STOPPER designers
as part of our hop too…
( you use your own fabric in your stash)

LET ME KNOW?

Imagine this..pin cushions on STEROIDs?
It is a thought!

( Thank you for the great feedback….. we will most certainly entertain the thought of combining both
hops….one day Handmaids, the other Don't let…..working on something, stay tuned….this will work….I knew we would have a back up plan wink)

Ok, I was already working on this for the new year….finished it a few minutes ago…. ONE Of the door stops I had already planned….

Spoke with our Cheerleader Carla, and YES we will combine both Handmaids and Don't let the Door Stop YOU…..one day Handmaids the other door stoppers and draft stoppers… Should be for a very interesting hop wink….

More details next Saturday, I have some ROOSTERs that need my attention, among a few other very important things happening over here….

Thank you everyone…and yes you can be in both!

  1. I picked 7 and it's pretty true to course. My second choice was number 9 and it seems to be closer to who I am.

  2. I picked #7 - interesting. I like to see the hops using ones own choice of fabrics to be creative with - plus it is hard for our overseas bloggers to obtain fabrics and it is very costly for them.

  3. I had to laugh at this little test! I picked #5 and read the description to my husband who laughed as well saying it was exactly the opposite of my personality (He thinks I am #1 or #2, he was #7, which is very true)!

I actually LOVE, LOVE the idea of a doorstop hop as I could use my own fabrics and I need some doorstops!. I think that the fabrics for the other hop are adorable, however they just are not me so I probably would never have picked up the fabrics in the first place, even though they really are darling.

  4. Funny I picked no. 7 as well...reading the description, I am not so sure...I love to worry, am frequently stressed, I'm truly not a people person, rather very introverted and seeking solitude, but when I am relaxed, I go with the flow and whatever will be, will be...blooming where planted. Doorstops sound interesting...maybe I could get rid of the shoe I use to hold the bedroom door open when the house shifts in the spring LOL

  5. Love that, pincushions on steroids, LOL! I am #4 and I am happy to be different.

  6. I picked 6 which I am assured by my husband is me. A door stop hop sounds fun. The fabric for the handmaids hop will be impossible to get in the UK.

  7. I picked #2 - it's pretty accurate!

  8. I picked #6. I guess it's right.

  9. Love to join a door stop hop, really need a good excuse to make one. Pincushion on steriods? Nah, you're really funny!

  10. I couldn´t decide 7 or 5. And i think that I´m a mix of those, when reading about it;-)
    This was funny!

  11. I chose #6. It almost describes me! I have an idea for a doorstop that I've been wanting to try. Perhaps I'd join in.

  12. As I looked at each tree it was like "love!" at tree #2, and then again, "love!" at tree #7 and both descriptions fit me well, #2 hits the nail on the head and #7 is very very close..... But when I read all of the descriptions, tree #6 is just as true as #2 at describing me but I do not like the tree. :)

The door stoppers sound like fun but I have never made one. Sounds like fun and they could be oriented to go in a windowsill as well.. Now that is where I need a draft dodger. :)

  13. Jumped back an forth between 2 and 5. Both are me in sew many ways. Door stoppers sound fun to me.

  15. I didn't know why I was drawn to #5 and wondered if it was simply because it was in the center. But then I read it.... And could not believe it. That tree is ME!

  17. I am a 4-5 with tendencies toward 2-1 with a little 9 for excitement. I guess that totally makes me a number 4! I have a door stopper project in my mind AND I really do need one. Idea + motivation = PROJECT! I would like a chance to be part of this.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ...was leaning to both #3 and #4 but the purple of #4 swayed me in that direction! :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I really liked #7 and for the most part it is pretty accurate. I didn't like the "snow" in the picture but I loved the tree shape.

    ReplyDelete
  20. #1 tree was my pick but I'm not sure it is me. Great idea to combine hops as I haven't found the fabric here either.

    ReplyDelete
  21. #8 which is pretty much on the mark. Hummmm door stops they are found on our little island quite frequently in the older houses.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm #5. Funny, I don't see that as being me at all! As for the 'double' hop, I think you should go for it. Can a person do a double (both hops) or just one? Might be a little confusing the first time around. I love the hops. It is so much fun to see what people come up with and so inspiring! I go back to pinterest often to 'remind' myself of ideas I may have forgotten! Gee, this might even nudge me out of my complacency to join in...maybe....

  23. 6 then I scrolled down and saw 7 but both are close. Hard to be unique when everyone fits into 1 of 9 trees. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. I picked 3 and I guess it is very close to truth.

    ReplyDelete
  25. #9 here. Hancocks in Paducah show to have most of the She Who Sews fabric.

  26. #6-pretty true for the most part.

    1. WOW! Not sure about my generosity. I could definitely do a lot more.
But totally agree on the hardworking and self improvement part. I just compare myself to myself :-).
LOl. Now going to ask my 6 yrd old daughter to pick something ;).

  38. I am between the 7 & 8 (which matches me to a tea). I think a really cute owl for a doorstop would be perfect for my new grandchilds room (due April 2nd). This sounds like a fun blog hop.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I am an 8. right on the money. I've never made a door stop but then again I never made anything for my sewing area before either. I hop here to grow, and have tons of fun and make new friends. Therefore, I'm in no matter what.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Pincushions on steroids sound fun! :) I'm a 5...interesting, I think, but I am very independent. :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. #5 here and bang on! Your "pincushions on steroids" comment gave me a good chuckle ;)

  44. I'm wavering between #5 and #7 but only part of each are right for me. Maybe I wasn't the cookie cutter kind...perhaps I was the leftover dough after the cookie was cut!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I picked #9. Years ago when that glass half full of water picture started making the rounds, I did say half-full the first time someone asked me ... :) Pat

  46. I do have a handmaid kitty shaped door stopper that has been in use many years and is looking like the kitties have been playing with it for the last few years ... ah ... which they have. Maybe I shall take a piccie and put it on my blog. I am thinking that I must need a new door stopper for 2014 ... ;) Pat

  49. I'm tree #1, that about says it. I've sent a note to Carla to join the Handmaids - I LOVE little projects from/for the sewing room.. I have a whole series of free patterns and tutorials for these little "Snippets" as I call them, on my website: http://www.quiltscapesqs.com. I think they're great gifts for sewing friends. And what fun fabrics, too!

  50. I am an 8 but I have been slipping from my true path. I need to focus!

LOVE the doorstop idea. Have added you to my blogroll so I can find my way back.

  51. I chose nine and I couldn't believe how right it was. Door stops can be really fun because they are only as limited as your imagination.

  52. I chose #1 and the description is totally me!! I shared this with my daughter and her choice perfectly describes her!! Wow!
