A word can have soooooo much meaning...

ALWAYS

That is our word....
Every since we met decades ago.
ALWAYS has had a special deep meaning...

This is what my Darling Husband woke up too this morning...
Late last night after another rainfall, I snuck out of the house
with my bottles of flour ( yes pastry flour) with a light around my neck...
and I spelled out ALWAYS with xox....
I used 6 quarts of flour....

Every morning my husband takes his coffee out the french doors
and views our spectacular garden....
He just knew I was up to something...He ALWAYS
is excited to see what I will come up with next ....

The cost of a small bag of flour created a lifetime of memories
this morning...

He looked at me with what I noted a slight mist in his eyes
and mouthed...ALWAYS ...and then we both hugged and laughed...

WE have been so busy with some business issues
that is was nice to be home to plan this...
Thought it would give all of you quilters something
to think about for your loved ones...

I do have a lovely day planned for us too!
So I will bid you Adieu...
see you soon.

I'm impressed that you did this with nothing but a light around you neck. I'd hate to see the mess I would a have created. lol

  24. Got any ideas how I can do that by remote? I will be at the Jamboree August 4th on our 50th anniversary. (I Think we have spent more anniversaries apart than together there's even a possibility he has forgotten the date). It sure would be fun to plan a surprise for the big one.

  32. Always in pretty special; especially in a time when people forget why they fell in love to begin with. May you always have a love worthy of a bag of flour!

Wonderful to celebrate love...we're 35 years and still going strong, and looks like other commenters have staying power, too! Warm hugs to you, my dear!

  40. I can just see my goofy old beagle hound with his nose all white if I were to do something like that!! But it was ever so romantic and UNIQUE...just like YOU!! I Thought you were taking some R&R these days but looks like you are taking more of the "Recreation" versus the "Rest"!! I do enjoy seeing what you are going to come up with next.

    Take care and Keep Creating
    Blessings
