We are hosting for Rosemary....better grab a spot of tea..you may be a while with me wink...

Monday June 17th Greetings again from the Asylum. Rosemary B here!!

It is my day to share my Tammy Bags

First of all, this hop has been a joy for me. I cannot describe to you the happiness it brings to my heart

to look at all of your adorable Tammy creations.
I want to Thank Madame Samm for hosting the results of my Tammy Bag Aptitude today. I am honored to be here.
Also a generous thank you to Riley Blake Designs for sponsoring this hop with their Gingham Love line.
And thank you to Dovo Scissors from Carrado Cutlery for their sponsorship as well.
These are great products that I have placed on my wish list.

I have been busy doing 14 thousand things. Mom is still rehabbing from her stroke and we are in the process of moving my parents here!
That means Home Healthcare and "equipment"…. My credit card is melting haha
And we are also planning a wedding for November. Yes yes my little tiniest baby Elizabeth is getting married.
I made my Tammy Bags for the bridesmaids. I will let Lizzie pick who gets which Tammy bag but they do each have their own personality.
I am sorry I did not fill them all the way up with amazing attractive items…. just sorry, okay? lol

Cute Tammy Bag #1 "I Love Chocolate" I need chocolate to function…. and cookies

#2  Cute Tammy Bag  "Hemostat Style"
Well, at least the stitching sort of matches.

#3 Tammy Bag  my mom's favorite in "Delft Blue" Adorab-bbb- huh?

#4 Cutie Tammy Bag:  "Teatime with a flashback"

Do you know what is amusing? I must have been having the same
fabric allure that I had with the cutie coin purses…

look what I found! ::gasp:: LOL

This is goodness golly gosh freaky. I just love this Moda Trade Winds collection, - and what a collection I have indeed.

and cuteness #5 "Make up" This one is my favorite and my mom made that little lace doily laying on the stone, about 12 years ago. For ME.

I hope you are enjoying this hop as much as I am.

As soon as I get my parents all settled in this Summer, I think I can get my old life back, right?

--- oh! the wedding.

Yeah, well, after the wedding.
I love all of you SEW MUCH, Rosemary B

Here are the other lovely ladies I am sharing this day with.
Every day is like Christmas morning with a beautiful surprise of massive creativity

  12. Rosemary - Great minds think alike - when my daughter got married 9 years ago, I made bags for all the bridemaids and the assistant pastor in the wedding (who is also my sister-in-law) and my daughter's new sister-in-law who chose not to be in the wedding. I was just thinking how are you doing all this with moving your parents there, planning a wedding, dealing with illness. Then I remember, you are super woman, you do what you have to do! When my daughter got married, I was going through chemo for breast cancer. Luckily, she did almost all the wedding preparations and they were out of state. I put off my last chemo treatment to travel there for the wedding. I was bald, bald, bald. I wanted to just wear a hat and she wanted me to wear a wig, so I wore a wig. I could hardly wait to get the wig off and the long line bra that was cutting into my side where my lumpectomecty was! I didn't say a word to a soul about it! I just enjoyed every moment of the wedding - even walking her down the aisle with her dad (and not saying a word to him - not even while sitting on the front pew with him!)!! One of the bridemaids drove me out to the wedding and someone else drove me back home and she and some the others brought my car home. I slept most of the way home. While I was there, I even made the "cash bags." I had already futzed and made the ring bearer pillow. I had very little to do actually. Your bags are awesome and put mine to shame. I have to admit that bags have come along way in that time, too! The girls will have a wonderful keepsake and your daughter will never, never forget what you have done for her. What a great kickoff to the hop!

  17. Wowie, Rosemary! 5 bags? I was lucky to get one done. Does the mother of the bride and the bride get one too?? Great bags and great pictures!

With all you have going on right now, settling your parents in and wedding plans, you must have been sewing like a little energizer bunny every chance you had. How cool is it that one of them matches your previously made coin purse.
