NICE PEOPLE SLEEP! more giveaways today....( winners announced tomorrow)

I have heard it so many times it puts me to sleep..
HOW do you get so much done?
Well besides being a pretty good time manager and organizer, I sleep well..
IN fact I think , I know --I have mastered SLEEP!

Before I tell you how I do this...I would like to highlight why
sleep is sooo important to us.

I like to simplify things in layman terms...
May I remind you I have a background in  Medicine, Nutrition and Pharma!
I also love humour...you will remember these better for it~

I possibly know the body better than most of you.
There are many I have assisted to understand the symptoms
of the body called symptomatology! They are sleeping better too!
I got 95% in this course...the 5 % I lost - I was not getting enough sleep!
I also am well versed on diseases of the body, got a perfect mark there 100%.

If we don't sleep well, all kinds of diseases can occur!
I will let you search that! It's a killer!

I sleep so much better once I understood the importance of sleep
and finding this tool! ( a very effective tool below)

WHY SLEEP?

1. It is the time when our body repairs itself, gets rid of toxins,
builds new cells, repairs our organs....makes us look YOUNGER!

2. If we don't get enough sleep, our body is stressed,
stress brings on this hormone called cortisol....
Cortisol this wicked hormone
makes us crave carbs, ( not good carbs like fruits and vegetables)
BAD CARBS
like chips, cookies, sweets, candy, ....
which means we eat and eat and eat
and we get belly fat...

3. We improve our memory when we sleep more..
We can remember almost anything and everything when our
body has been resting for at least 8-9 hours each night.
A wife who remembers everything her husband
has ever done is one that sleeps well!

4. People who do not sleep well are MEAN!
Yes- I mean that ! lol their body is trying to tell them something
besides being mean....it brings out the worst in them!
People who sleep well are  much NICER people...

( this is all from a Harvard Study in my terms)

NOW for the tool that changed my life...
I always say we are only as good as our tools!

40 blinks
( and yes they look like micro bras)

They are very light, they are shaped like a lens...
concave shape...lots of room for our eyelashes...
they hug you tight, but not too tight...
They fit any size head!
They can darken a room sooooo well,
YOU will fall asleep quicker...
YOU will sleep even when the sun comes up
because you won't be able to see it...

Note here: I have owned at least a dozen masks
till I found this one years ago...
The real benefit to this 40 Blinks...
is that it is total darkness...
if you do not have that...
you cannot get to the 40 blinks
which keeps you asleep..
( more on sleep in weeks to come)

( Why some mornings I don't get to my post
as early as I did in the past- I am still sleeping!)

They are inexpensive..
How many of you take sleeping aids...alcohol,
eat foods that make you sleep..oreo cookies used to do that for me?

NOT ANYMORE!

INVEST IN one of these...
It will put you to sleep!

I think you all know me very well. I never ever ever
talk about any product that I don't LOVE myself...
Why would I? Who benefits....

WELLLLLL, I will be surprised if all of you
do not get the same benefit as I do with
this Sleep MASK...

My only issue with these Bucky Sleep Masks..
is I misplace them as often as I misplace my scissors!

Now tell me why YOU NEED THIS MASK?
Bucky 40 Blinks.

I have 3 to give away!

Winners announced tomorrow.!

  1. No need to wait see if I won, I bought mine already. I bought the Aqua one. Hip hip hurray to more sleep! I cannot wait for it to arrive.

  2. So you're sayin getting a good night's sleep could cure many of my ills. April Fools Day was yesterday so you must be serious.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I need this mask because I can't sleep at night until LATE into the morning!!! Sometimes it is 3:00 or later before I sleep. Thanks for the opportunity.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hummmmm, I always thought I was a night person. Must be wrong because I find I am still tired during the day! Thanks for the chance to get my body straighten out.

    ReplyDelete
  5. we leave the hall light on for my children.....and leave our door cracked so we can hear them. Even the small amount of light that peeps in makes it difficult to sleep....this mask would be great!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I never sleep an entire night. I am up and down every night and have been like that since I was in my teens. I always assumed I was a night owl. Thank you for the opportunity to own a pair of these.

    ReplyDelete
  7. They look very comfortable, I don't have a problem with sleep, but I just like staying up late because that's the only time to get some quiet time just for me. Lucky for me it is Greek tradition to take afternoon naps!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I am so fortunate to always sleep all night. So I guess I am a lucky one.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have so much truble with sleeping. Maybe these could help me.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I believe in what you stand behind and I will eventually get one of these why, well because I cannot tell you the last time I slept all night, It seems I sleep a few hours and I am up and then the next night I sleep maybe 3 hours and I am up and I do not know why but it has been going on for years. I thought maybe it happens as we age but I guess not. I do not want to go the sleeping pill way because then I still wake up but only groggy. So I will defiantly try this Madame Samm, thank you.
Oh congratulations to the winners of the divas, I am jealous...but I will continue to try.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh, my -- I definitely need one of these! I have a dreadful time falling asleep and staying asleep. I have a feeling this product would be the solution!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I am so glad there are others who do not aleep well, besides me. Most of my working life as a nurse was the swing shift and I know that is some of it. And as you say our diet is important. I think alot at night. I do not know if the mask will help as I will still think but its worth a try. I know my husband would sure appreciate it if I stayed in bed.

  14. I have scoliosis and haven't slept well for years - I only wish I could!

    ReplyDelete
  15. ZZZZZZZZZ Oh don't I wish .....

    ReplyDelete
  16. I must be doing something right because I sleep really well and wake up refreshed ready for the day. If I get tired in the day I have also mastered the art of a power nap, five to ten minutes of clearing you mind and coming to invigorated. My problem is I can't teach my husband the same skills so if I win a mask I'm hoping it will help his sleep improve.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I need this because I don't sleep well at all if there is light. I have yet to find a sleep mask that I love. I usually rip them of and toss them on the floor. I really want one that I love.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Now that is the darndest thing! My hubby and I are good sleepers but last night... So I am up early a blog hopping! Hi, Samm! Long time no chat. BTW, I got myself a timer. :) I'll be setting it for a powernap sometime today! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  19. I use a sleep mask if i want to nap weekend afternoons. I think I would love these ones. Must check out website. But would love to win one as well. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sleep is one of the things I seem to have lost with menopause! And I desperately miss it!!! If this mask would help me get to sleep at night, I would be a very happy girl :*)

    ReplyDelete
  21. I actually sleep pretty well myself, except for of course when the kidlets climb in bed with us and move around too much....a mask won't help that problem I'm sure. Hubs is the one who has trouble sleeping but it is more because he is a worry wort. I'll suggest these and see what he says. Now if anyone can help me find a way to keep the kidlets sleeping in their own bed all night long, I'd be one happy gal.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I would love a sleep mask :) I need complete darkness to sleep well, so I pile the covers over my head. It would be so lovely to take a nap in complete daylight! I would love a Bucky 40 winks :) Thank you for the chance to win one.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't sleep. I have restless leg, take medication for that. Take three muscle relaxers as well, the neurologist is hoping it will help with my migraines, and perhaps it is helping..perhaps not. Still I wake up all night long. I have a semi circle window in my room with no shade (hate that thing in the morning). I have a DH who has a lamp on his side of the bed, and I think I may have to confiscate that thing as well, LOL. He turns it on to get into his jammies when he comes to bed late at night instead of changing in the bathroom. Thoughtful man!! These look awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Just what the doctor ordered! Bucky 40 Blinks sounds like a dream come true...it's been many years since I have had consistent sleep....most nights I average 2-4 hours sleep. But honestly I am having trouble for laughing this morning...I want to try these...but I keep laughing... the picture of the Bucky 40 Blinks....looks like a bikini/bathingsuit tops display.... which makes me laugh now even as I am typing with my overactive imagination. :) Beulah

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sleep...I could use that. I toss and turn and sew in my head most of the night. If this would help....yes!!! I need one

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would love to have a full nights sleep. I would love to try them as I wake up in the morning very tired and I would love to wake up rested and refreshed. Thank you for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'd love to try this brand of sleep mask. Looks like a good product.

  28. Where we live, the lights from the neighboring town of Oxford illuminate the sky and it is never completely dark in our house unless it is storming. I was one who always thought I needed light to sleep so I could see if anyone came in the room on me.. Yes, I am a scaredy cat.. lol

But I finally decided that the night sky was enough to keep the house illuminated so I shut off the lights. I found that II sleep better without the lights on but I do find I wake up at least once a night and I know it is due to the house not being completely dark.

I am going to get once of these... If I get skeered I can always take it off my eyes to see what is in my room. lol

Since I won the Diva, please do not put my name in the hat for a Bucky... It is someone else's turn to win. :)

Thank you thank you for the Diva pattern!:)

    ReplyDelete
  29. My sleep problems have more to do with the hours we sleep. My natural clock would have me sleeping between 10 or 11 pm and 7 or 8 a.m. However, we rise at 4 a.m. during the work week, and it is just so unnatural to have to try to go to sleep right after dinner (also not good for digestion or weight gain). Maybe these would help.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would love to not wake up in the morning tired. I get to sleep ok but staying asleep is the problem. Thanks for the great giveaway. I love the quilt Diva pattern. I must have missed your post yesterday. :(

    ReplyDelete
  31. I must run buy one of those. Really, I must! I have so many little teenie lights on in my room--TV, DVR, clock, power strip, fan, etc.--it is never really DARK. Plus, since I don't sleep so well, maybe I'm meaner than I think I am. Yes, I'll RUN buy one of those just so I can be nicer and eat less bad foods. :O)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ahhhh.... that explains that! I have to admit I sleep within 1 minute of my head hitting the pillow and I'm out for 7-1/2 to 8 hours each night. Only with a very rare sleepless occasion when I'll just get up and go do the something that's on my mind. Of course I also sleep in a dark room. Room darkening shades, even duck tape snippets over some of the electronics with that glowing little light, who needs those indicators anyway? A Bucky would be handy when I travel since I use a mask when I can't control my surroundings. Thanks for sharing and for hosting yet another great givaway. I was lucky enough to win the quilt diva pattern you hosted yesterday. Your the tops! Thank you. Jane

PS: The bucky looks like an eye bra. lol Radical intense colors that I love.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I've never fallen asleep easily, so I need to try one. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a little bra? LOL! (I wonder if that would work until I get one? I guess not, my eyes are too small!)
Thanks for telling us about them!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I sure could use a good night's sleep!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Rosemary B here:
I absolutely adorrrre this little "bra" for my eye lashes.
Mine get squished and I have to fix them every morning.... so time consuming with all of the brushing and blow drying hahahahaha

I would LOVE one of these. When I do not get enough sleep I tend to be a little bit whiny and lazy, aaaand then I can't wait until bed time again.so hopefully tomorrow will be the best day

I tend to crave a lot of bad food before dinner.... I am breaking that habit by not buying it.
And having cheese and peanuts for snacks. I eat fruit and vegetables all day anyway. I allow myself one oatmeal raisin cookie every day.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Rosemary B here AGAIN:
Oh my gosh!! If you go to the webpage they have 10% off any order and FREE shipping.
Holy Moly, you could get one for everyone you love that is crabby and needs sleep. --you know, change their life forever, and save your sanity from the sleep deprived --- and get sleep yourself.
    I love the RED

    ReplyDelete
  37. My hubby and I could both use one of these. We are in bed by 8pm because we need to get up by 2 am. Not so bad in the winter, but summer is awful since it is still fully light out past 9pm. Thanks for the opportunity to make it easier to sleep in the summer. =)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Samm's Secrets! Love it. I need an Eye Bra, a Bucky. It will lift my eyelids in the daytime so I no longer feel like falling asleep at work. It will separate my eyes so I no longer go cross-eyed looking at numbers in columns and numbers on invoices and numbers on computer screens. More sleep, less chocolate, hm. I might even love my scales more.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Eye Bra! Ha, I love it! I have never seen them before. Sounds like it would be great and especially for one of my kids who works nights. I will look into these. Thanks for the information.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hmm, yes...I think it looks a bit like a mini bra but I love all the fun colors and designs :) I use room darkening shades but this sounds like it could be better.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks for sharing your sleep secret. I have trouble shutting down my mind to get to sleep and keep looking at the clock, I think the Bucky would really help.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh, this looks very interesting. I have trouble sleeping when it isn't really dark. There are lights on everything these days, but in my bedroom, the worst is my alarm clock when I go to sleep. We also have sky lights in our bedroom--not in the ceiling but in a high wall. I can close the blinds on them, but it is difficult, and since we live in a bermed wall house, there is little natural light during the day with them closed. This could be a great solution! I'll check them out.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Those are darling....one can be stylish while catching those zzzzzs.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thanks for this info about the Bucky. My husband needs a dark room to sleep. The Bucky looks soft and comfortable, but I wonder how long it would take to get used to having something on the face? If I win one, I will let hubby try it and if he loves it, I will buy him one. I never had trouble sleeping before the menopausal years hit...sigh...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Those do look like bras, don't they and such stylish colors too. Thank you for the opportunity to win a Bucky as I could use it. Either cannot get to sleep in the first place or wake in the middle of the night and then cannot get back to sleep. Like last night. It is hard to achieve "dark, cool and quiet" in the home environment.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thank you for telling us about the Bucky Mask -- sounds like something I really need! I have had way too many years of too little sleep with my fibro (and undiagnosed CFS). I am doing better no that I take melatonin before bed, but still... there are too many times when even that doesn't help. The Bucky sounds like something I NEED to try... and of course, I wouldn't be opposed to being one of the lucky winners! :D

    ReplyDelete
  47. Good to know why I need more sleep. I already know that sleep is good for you. But rarely do I sleep more than 3 hours in a row. I wake up several times every night. No wonder I am chronically tired. I do have a sleep mask, but don't always use it. But it does leak in light around the edges and touches my eyelashes. Maybe that is why I don't use it much. I have never heard of the Bucky. It would be awesome to win one. Maybe I will sleep better with one of those. Thank you for the lesson on sleep. It was much needed.

    Linnea

    ReplyDelete
  48. Never heard of Bucky before...boy do I need this! I am so light sensitive in my sleep that even with our bedroom door closed tight, lights left accidentally on in the house will awaken me. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I haven't slept 8 or 9 hours a night ever. Now that I work the overnight shift, I don't often
have the opportunity to have it really dark in my room to sleep. It certainly would be great,
and my family would benefit with a happier me. Thanks for looking out for all of us, and giving
    is a chance to win.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't comment much, but I read! I'd love one of the masks. I have fibromyalgia, and a big part of my constant pain is because I don't sleep well. I don't sleep well because I'm in pain. Then I'm in pain because I'm not getting enough sleep... it's a lovely cycle! I've got a sleep mask I bought on Etsy, but it doesn't work well. Even if I don't win one of the ones you have to give away, I think I'll buy one anyway!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I could definitely use a bucky 40 blinks. I have been having a problem with sleep for over 10 years now. I usually sleep 3-4 hrs, wake up - spend time in my sewing room and then go back to sleep for another 3-4 hrs. ???? I have been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and am now using a CPAP machine. It has been difficult to get used to. I have had better sleep some nights and some nights its back to the ole 3-4 hrs thing.... Oh do I need some gooooood sleep!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Demoro para dormir, durmo cerca de três horas noite,e me sinto bem.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I would love a good, solid 8 or 9 hours of sleep! A cool, quiet, dark bedroom is a real necessity for me but I'm not the only person living in this house so I kind of just catch as catch can. I've tried so many sleep masks but have never found one that was comfortable and provided total darkness. Even if I don't win a mask, I'm going to buy one to try it out! Thanks for letting us know about the Bucky mask, and for the giveaway too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. I would love to try one of these sleep masks! I have not slept for an entire night for many years. I wake up at least 4 times every night...Grrrrr.

  56. am I the only one a little squeamish about wearing one of these? yes, nice and dark would be good for me, but to wake up and not see until I pull that sucker off, I just don't know. yes, I know it only takes a fraction of a second, but, ewwwwwww, I just don't know. oh we'll, like my mama always says....."I'll try anything once, twice if I like it."

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  57. That looks interesting. I have had a really hard time getting to sleep. I'm not sure if the darkness would help that or not. I don't feel like I ever get enough rest!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I want sleep. I need sleep. I can't sleep well! Since I put lavender oil on my pillow and it helps some, but not enough. If these work my hubby and I both need them!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I have problems staying asleep all night. I can usually sleep for a couple of hours then I wake up and visit the bathroom. After that I frequently am wide awake for 1 - 3 hours which then spoils my day because by the time I wake up again most of the morning is gone. I have figured out it is sometime due to blood sugar spikes, occasionally aches and pains and I know it happens if I have had any caffeine (which is seldom). Maybe a mask would help.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sleep is one of my favorite night-time activities -- but getting harder as I get older. I'd love to try these, better than ending up with pills if I can avoid them. ;-/

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wonderful find & they are soooo pretty! I'll have to try one! Can't wait to see more of the Diva!

    ReplyDelete
  62. This sounds like something I could definitely use. I don't have any problem falling to sleep, but I am always awake by 3a.m. Since I don't have to get up until much later, it would be wonderful to be able to sleep the whole night through. Thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  63. our new bedroom has a skylight. in the city that isn't a good thing. Nor on nights with a full moon. I've been sleeping with masks, but the elastic keeps wearing out. This looks like a great product.

    ReplyDelete
  64. These are adorable, i think I would use them in many ways but one on their website says to use them for a mini eye rest at work, 5 minutes away from the computer screen sounds wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  65. This sounds like a wonderful product. I'm a nurse and although I usually work day shift, it isn't always an option. We also live in a new subdivion which means small trees...not big enough to block the bright light from the neighbors lights....and they keep them on 24/7. So far I've not found a comfortable mask. Thanks for letting us know about Bucky Sleep Masks.

  67. Thanks a lot for this post and a chance to win the mask.I resently had a lot of stress at work and it resulted in sleeping prolems...I recognized myself in being mean to people and forgetting what I told whom and when...Pity masks can not help with stress handling :-) But on the other hand if one puts it on at work then part of the problems will not be visible...and thanks god I can blind type :-D

    ReplyDelete
  68. When I think of how much I tossed and turned last night, I wonder if this would have helped! thanks for the chance to find out!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I really need to try one of these. If it works as good as you say, then it will be on he top of my list for my husband.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I would like to try it. My doc put me on a sleep aid to help my body heal from the constant pain all over. I do not like the side effects of the sleep aid (hair loss, for one). Would like to try a non-drug alternative!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I really do sleep well for about six hours - so maybe this would be the answer to get the other two or three hours. Thanks Samm for your most excellent review. Judy C

    ReplyDelete
  74. Does it keep you asleep even when the children are screaming from their bedrooms in the middle of the night? :o)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I certainly need a pair of these. I have a awful time getting a good nights sleep. I can never get the room dark enough to sleep soundly.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I could use one of these. My hubby doesn't like to sleep in complete darkness. I told him we sleep better in the dark. He doesn't seem to care. Always a night light somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I need one of these because,it takes me forever to go to sleep in the first place, and secondly,I always wake up feeling like I need to go to bed :(

    ReplyDelete
  78. If they can help make one fell rested after rising in the morning rather than thinking I should head back to bed and pull the quilt over my head ..... that's just what I need ... want .... would love to win.
then maybe the body will rest and not ache hmmmmm off to check out the site
thanks for the info and the chance to win one of these great drug free sleep aids ;)

  79. Agreed. Lack of sleep makes one crabby. I am looking at these as bridge prizes or even for those gift exchanges you never know what to get. They are really good looking.

  80. Interesting eye wear. Worth a try. I sleep 8 hours but never without waking up several times.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I honestly cannot remember the last time I slept straight through eight or more hours... sad but true! TIA! B-)

  84. I have tried so many sleep masks...all to no avail...simply too uncomfortable and too restrictive over my eye lids...I would love to be able to sleep more that 3-4 hours per night....Thank you for
    the opportunity to win one.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I would love to try this. I think there are MANY of us out there that need more sleep!

    ReplyDelete
  86. My husband deals with chronic pain and has a hard time sleeping so he reads in bed till 2 or 3 in the morning. It drives me crazy to have his light on all the time but I'm not going to complain to him. I would love to give these a try. 3bakergirlsgo@gmail.com

  87. I live in the "Land of the Midnight Sun". Twenty-four hour daylight for three or more months of the year. We are adding 6 minutes of daylight every day. Right now our daylight is 13 1/2 hours; in five days it will be over 14 hours and then it just keeps on getting lighter and lighter until June 21st when it all turns around. I've never tried a sleep mask but if it helps me sleep better I'm all for it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I just ordered some. Thanks for the discount. Up until recently I went 8 years sleeping about 3-5 hours most nights. Many tests and doctors, I just couldn't take sleeping pills. Tried everything. I now sleep about 5-6 hours. It's better than it used to be, but never more than 6 hours.
I work, craft, cook, clean, but feel bad a lot. SLEEP is the answer to it all.
Sorry to sound down, I'm not. I think positive every day and try to stay cheerful and look forward to every day and a chance to try it again.

Have a wonderful day. Thanks again for the discount code.

    Debbie

  89. The most honest answer I can give is: I would love to win so I could give it to my husband to try. Sleep and I are longtime friends! Hubby on the other hand hasn't had a good nights sleep in well over 2 months! He needs it more than I do :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think I need to try one of these. Between all the stress of fixing up the house to sell, building a new one and moving to a temporary rental for a few months insomnia has been my constant friend for the last year.

    ReplyDelete
  91. ...because I live North of 60 where it is light all night long in the summer!

  94. I, too, like it dark when I sleep. But alas, my DH now needs a breathing machine at night and that darn blue light is right in my eyes. So this is a great idea and stylish too.

  95. Oh my, these look wonderful! I wouldn't mind trying a pair. As a shift worker, ya gotta sleep when ya can & any help would be welcomed. I'm not one to use any sleep aids, I try to adjust according to my shift. But the Bucky would sure help!

  98. I NEED this! I have terrible sleeping problems since having babies who didn't sleep well, and then my sleep deteriorated even more due to menopause. Thanks for the product recommendation :)

  99. • • • Since my back problems started (years ago) I've only been able to sleep four hours at a time. Even if I try to push it to six or seven, it still does not feel like I had enough. It would be so wonderful to be able to get a FULL nights rest once in a while.

  100. I should have purchased one last time you blogged about it previously but I was recuperating from bilateral cataract surgery and had been cautioned NOT to rub or put pressure on my eye. This whole week has been a run of not being able to fall asleep in the first place rather than waking up in the middle and staying awake for a few hours. Cool, dark and quiet is hard to achieve at my house. I will get one if I am not fortunate to receive one via giveaway this time rather than keep complaining about the part I COULD control---dark!

  101. I have fibromyalgia. My first pain management doctor insisted that I get a good night's sleep. She tried many, many Rx. The doctors have not been able to find a sleep aid that will help me get to sleep, stay asleep, and wake up without feeling hung over. It was a more miserable time to try the drug therapies than to just roll with the sleep disorder part of the malady. There are still nights I don't sleep at all and nights I sleep better. I think this might be a great aid. You are very generous with your giveaways.

  104. Menopause has done a number on my sleep patterns! I have trouble falling asleep, but then I wake up too early because the light comes through the window. I love my window treatment - it makes me happy to see the day through the sheers - but I need it to be dark until my body is ready to wake up. Help! Send me a mask and save my sleep :*)

  105. I had no idea! Hope I win one : )

  107. I have long suffered with sleep issues and realize it is now time to face the music and do something about it. I've deluded myself for years thinking that I was being productive while sewing at 3:00 in the morning when I couldn't sleep; but in reality the work was not always top quality and often required taking apart and re-doing. That just happened Tuesday and I told myself that I was going to figure out how to sleep better. As usual, your timing (like your work) is impeccable. :-)

  116. Currently I use an old down pillow to put over my eyes when the sun is bright early this time of year....my dh calls it my "privacy" pillow. Now it is our running joke, as he found an old down pillow that he now uses for "privacy" too!

  123. I can give lots of reasons why I need one but to tell you the truth they (drs) have done sleep studies and told me they could not give me a dx because I don't seem to go into rem sleep that much, then tried something because they said i Had restless leg syndrome, that didn't work; then sleeping pills which caused me to have night terrors and I could go on so I do not take any of it...I just accept the fact that maybe some people are only suppose to get 4 hours of sleep a night? Is that possible............I do feel tired during the day but do no take a nap for fear of not getting that 4 hours a night..Do you think this might help Madame Samm just to have total darkness.

  132. I need them because in the summer when the sun comes up early it peaks through my shade and hits me right in the eye...which means I can never sleep past 5:30...in the winter the street light peaks through the other edge of the shade....maybe I need new shades...or this mask!!! ;)
