If I had not taken the path into medical and pharma, perhaps I would have gone
into forensic science or sleuth work. Albeit reading every book that Carolyn Keene
wrote about Nancy Drew was the reason - is anyone's guess?
I still have many copies with the sticker price of 25 cents.!
Yep, that is all I am going to say! lol
I have always loved mystery, still do! So when I came across
Moda's fabric line of Nancy Drew, I could not reach out to them quick
enough. So here we are, for the next few days, many of us equipped with
our magnifying glass, began our search "What will I create for this HOP?"
has been ready for months, no more delays...we are ready,
she is ready, YOU are ready....
I wonder what she created...she would not share with me at all...
not that we compete in any way....I have no clue why
she would feel I will top her in anyway....wink...
OHHH she is up today...plenty of time to create something else.!
So welcome everyone, those who will be hopping, cheering and creating...
"WE" are sooooo excited...
on the side bar.... of this blog...
Here are the sleuths who will be entertaining you all today...
be sure to cheer them on....they do this for YOU!

but it was this one that certainly captured my attention....and since
my middle name is RACHEL, I bet it is heading my way....
( NOT wink) however it is not to late to change my name is it?
and to the most creative...

Look at all that colour? This lady knows paper piecing and points...
will you look at each one of them..PERFECTION...
so for creativity today...hands down this lady has it wrapped up

ReplyDeleteOld quilters? Nancy Drew was the first book I ever read because I WANTED TO, and I went back to the library and got the next and the next....
One mother came into the library where I was working many years later and complained to me that all her daughter read was Nancy Drew. I told her to be glad her daughter was reading and one day she would hit the last book in the series and probably start on another series.
It has been a wonderful first blog hop day. Even for me that hasn´t heard of Nancy Drew until this blog hop. I don´t think I have seen any of the books translated to Swedish. We have our Pippi Longstocking of the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren and then I remember the Kitty books which were translated to Swedish.
ReplyDeleteBut I have enjoyed reading all from the bloggers and I must say that the projects have been amazing.
Looking forward to the coming days. And we have a wonderful spring day today here in Sweden and it is surely a joy only to be.
