WE are seeing many of these images in our area....This oak tree

is lovely with its fallen leaves and whips of stitching swirls...

yes a reminder that fall is never the end....

just a resting period...let's rest awhile and enjoy the view! 

Ok, you rest...I have some stitching to do! 

Guess WHO? hard not to be pulled into this one...what a lovely design,

and the use of a drunkard path die...well a wise thought...

the fabric choices with a dark background is welllll owlish...lol

One would think more oranges and yellows for FALL

and yet each one of these ladies chose browns

to highlight, accent, create depth to their piece..

Ok, maybe because it is paper piecing, or maybe it is because the batik fabric..

( I think I am starting to like batiks , I don't even have 1 fat quarter of it)

 or the fall backgrounds...but this screamed

"PICK ME, I AM FALL". ok, sew we did! lol

And this one, well her points were perfect, look at it closely..

and her fabric choices a perfect balanced block..

YEP, it leafs us happy to say, we like this one too....

Those leafs are perfect. I see those colours already on my lawn..

( I had help this morning choosing...thanks Charlotte,

we have very similar taste....

Everything was appealing about this...colourful, great leaf choices..

even the plastic pumpkin lol. and green background...overall,

it just jumped off the page..well done!. Charlotte and I both agreed! 

This lady's use of paplique, material choices the stitching around the circle...fabulous..

the little white gourds or do we call them mini pumpkins...regardless...

a perfect choice...we both agreed again!

Ok, this just made me smile...I LOVE APPLE PIE, talk about influencing

the judges lol. It even had a recipe...take a peak at how much sugar
