  1. I had to leaf you a comment. I've been a follower (or rather addict) for a number of hops now..... and yes, it all sounds like fun doesn't it! Your blog hops should really come with some sort of warning: Side effects might include becoming a blog stalker, leaving comments everywhere, cheering on every occasion. In severe cases it might even lead to making friendly and supporting comments to total strangers.... It is true. I am responding to everyone, on Twitter, Facebook AND in real life!I found myself saying to the dentist assistent: I love your shoes! They look so vibrant and really fun. Luckily, she enjoyed it.... I hope you're happy.......

  4. I am really enjoying the blog hop, will most definitely be following more. I must say though, and this is said as nicely as possible... I find I am being tricked when I 'Have" to become a follower to leave a comment for a giveaway. Some blogs I just don't want to follow because they are not my style. It just seems like a sales scam. Sorry. Enjoying all the blocks though and blog hop. Thanks for a great job putting it together.

    1. Good Morning Vivian, glad to hear you are enjoying our hop....regarding becoming a follower.. I can see your point . thank you for sharing it...I think your comment is best directed to those bloggers whom this message is really for. We at sewwequilt.com do not tell our bloggers what to do on their personal blogs... Our policy to win with us, if you participate your chances are as good as everyone else's, be a follower or not...Do hope this conveys our role here.

    1. and you should be...it is a delightful project..what kind of fabric did you use for the leaves..batik?

    2. No they weren't batiks, just regular cotton fabrics. Some had tiny prints and a couple were more mottled looking.

  11. Madame Samm: Most of the time I go to your blog to see the list of people who are participating on a certain day, and this morning I realized that Deborah (on that other blog) was not on your list for today, but on other people's list. And sometimes a person has been moved to another day. (A passion for Applique) This makes it hard for some of us who want to go to all the blogs to see and comment. Maybe a comment or two in your listing about it will help us all. Love all the blogs so far, and am having fun hopping...

    1. thanks for letting me know..my post are prepared in advance....sew if there is some changes ( which today it looked like that ) I just follow the lead and everyone has it on theirs...it happens... I added Deborah and before your note, she was already on our top 2 for the day .... WE try to do the best we can do and sometimes we get a hiccup.. thanks Maria...what a dear of you to let me know..

    2. I knew she was on the top two, and I knew that I had seen her block, just couldn't figure out where anymore, till I started cross referencing lists..... She was up bright and early on that other blog, and saw it late last night when I was commenting on the other person who had her block on that other blog...... Thanks for the fix!
