But first a POLL for the BOWL, Bowls with Borders Blog Hop...update



 ( this just a POLL, would ANYONE be interested?)

A paper piecing thought- was planted
and bowls is all I could see...
I thought "what is happening to me?"

I kept cutting and sewing and stacking up high
well the colours and fabrics just made me sigh..
I can't stop now, I am on a roll
perhaps you will join me for a poll..

Should we do a blog hop, each do 3 
will you follow along with me?
Will your stack be red and black
or multiple colours will that be a fact.

Will they be floral or abstract designs
will you be thinking this is a sign...

Will you please join me in the fun,
a bowl party is not fun with just one....

YOU start with 4 and then add 3 
and before you know it
you have 33....

as you can see, it's hard to stop
I just kept cutting and piecing
without a thought...


How large will it be, 
will everyone see,
I have lost my mind
is this a crime?

                

It's time for lunch I must run
but I will be back with more bowls
this is just too much fun...


     

Okay day 2 and yes it is true..
I kept sewing and stacking
and the bowls just grew...

to the grandkids...lol


I heard from the lady who made
the pattern, she is going
to provide the pieces to make 
the bowls for FREE!
Please let me know who would 
like to make a stack of bowls..
If there is enough of you..
we can have a quick blog hop
to see them all....
It is a very easy pattern!
You will have 6 weeks to complete
your stacking bowls..

Hi Marjorie..this is just a poll....to see if anyone was interested...was thinking a couple weeks...or maybe some thought, push it forward to the fall...Pippa's group of 4...well you would do 3 bowls. sew them together, send it to someone, they would add their 3, you would get someone's first bowls you would add 3 ..4 times in total..YOu would be working on 4 diff't peoples bowls...
      YOu would then get yours back, with 4 stacks of 3 bowls and with your initial 4 bowls...sew you would have 16 bowls in height...sound right > lol

    1. Ohhh Carol, well as shared..just a poll to see if anyone would LIKE to do this...lol yes small groups would be ideal...otherwise it would be a year before you got your block back...you could make it quicker lol

    1. well here is to 2 of us..Pastel..I have been involved in swaps but never did one before ...but I assure you , I am very organized...sew let;s see if we can more excited...Heck this is an easy pattern, took me 15 minutes to do each stack of 3...lol

    1. Marjorie..you are correct, no swap...each and everyone who wants to make the bowls will be giving the pattern pieces..when done...you make your own...we will have a blog hop with all those who have the pattern, and just show photos...if you don't have a blog we will post them here..
      that is all...the lady is on holidays, just waiting for her to return on JULY 1st to prepare the pattern...no silly questions..hope that helps..

  49. Ohhhh. I so want to join this one. But I have never tried this sort of thing before. Perhaps if I could get the pattern I could try it and see if I can be successful. I wouldn't want to commit to the blog hop and then not be able to make a bowl that actually looks like a bowl.
