ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Darlene
Madame Samm now you know that you point us in a direction and we will follow, don't we always. You have been a pioneer for allot of us in blogland and have shared so much with us that I know for me you have been a true blessing and I feel honored to have followed you for a long time now and will continue. Enjoy your vacation...
ReplyDeleteChange = Growth, or at least that's what I'd like to believe. I know I'll be hanging close to see what's in store. Thanks for all that you do!
ReplyDeleteI just love all the wonderful things you think up and bring to us through your blog. I am looking forward to what you will come up with next. Change is good.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! You always have something to inspire me. Would love to play with the Pellon!
ReplyDeleteChanges are not easy but help us to grow! Looking forward to what you will have for us!
ReplyDeleteI used to be a changeaphobic! I avoided change like the plague!!! But I have learned that change can be a very good thing, and so now I look for the possibilities in it and trust the Lord to lead me out into it fearlessly (well almost fearlessly ;*}).
ReplyDeleteSo although I always hate to say goodbye to that which is familiar and dear, I am looking forward very much to seeing what is around the corner for !Sew WE Quilt! !!! I know it is going to be amazing!!!

ReplyDeleteMme Samm, I have followed you since the first day that you made your debut here - and I shall follow you into the future. Whatever creative turn you take, you will provide inspiration to us, I know.
ReplyDeleteI love change, and it will definitely be a change for me to use the products in the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time off!
As someone who gets bored easily, I always love changes. Change=Growth.
ReplyDeleteI know this isn't goodbye, just an "until I get back" and I know you will rest up, recharge and be constantly thinking of new and exciting things to bring to your readers. You more than deserve a little time away from here! Enjoy it but don't spend too much time buried in your homework. It is spring and you need to stop and smell the Gerberas.
ReplyDeleteChange is a good thing. Growth, new inspiration and energy to do what we all love.
There is always good in change so bring it on. Never fear, change is here, growing and getting better. I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteWe all need rest, we all need change - a few kick and scream at it, but soon it is a smooth ride. A great bundle to close the month.
ReplyDeleteI like changes - it makes us feel alive and moving when things just aint the same day in, day out. Hope you all have a great weekend - here in Denmark its a bit cold for the season, but hopefully it will soon CHANGE!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it they say about a change being better than a rest? I embrace change, it is a way to make you grow.
ReplyDeleteDear Madame Samm,
ReplyDeleteChange is just one part of life....I just embrace it. I sincerely look forward to any up-coming series. It always seems to push me to try something new or to think about a project in a new way. Thank you for all your work.
Just as long as I DO NOT have to learn another computer program I am all for it... Ready, set, go... let's see Mdm Samm soar!!! Wonderful opportunity. Judy C
ReplyDeleteYou've always led us down an inspiring, educational, and interesting path, so I trust that you will do that again in the new format. It will be a new adventure to see where it takes us. Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and I love Pellon!! I'm sure whatever direction you take with the blog, it will be for the best. You have to put YOU first!

ReplyDeleteI love change...I am 'stuck on you'...or I would be if I won this give away! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeletePaulette
Change with fresh ideas, I am up for it but I have to confess, me no likie change...you would think that I would be used to it with all of the moves but to be honest...I am not...it is very hard for me.
ReplyDeleteI am sure it will be something fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSomething new, I am so excited. Get a little rest Madame Samm, and I look forward to your new ideas for us.
ReplyDeleteChange is neither good nor bad....it is inevitable...a part of live.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break.
Change is great...except sometimes I am not so ready to make it if there is a cost involved. So this giveaway it a great way to get me to experiment with new items! thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteActually, I do love change. Otherwise my quilting would never have evolved. I would have never tried solids or batiks or pastels or florals or any number of other fabrics or methods! Thanks, Jan
ReplyDeleteChange is good... stirs things up, keeps life exciting!
ReplyDeleteChange is healthy, and fun...who wants to be dull and predictable all of the time?
ReplyDeleteChange is good....I just jumped in on something new and I have been having fun ever since I made my first cozy here, needed some new tea towels and cover my old pot holders and then some.....I look forward to what's coming next....thanks for sharing....Judith, Texas
ReplyDeleteChange is a good thing right .... with out change how do we grow as quilters and in life... we'll be watching to see what great changes are in store for our favorite blog.
ReplyDeletein stitches
I got some change in my pocket goin jing-a-ling-a-ling... that kinda change?? LOL! I'm sure you will make it well worth the change!! :)
ReplyDeleteWithout change we can get ourselves into such ruts! Can't wait to see what's coming - "An-ti-ci-paaaaa-tion!"
ReplyDeleteI usually resist change but once it is done, I am much happier. Some day, I will learn to embrace it.
ReplyDeleteChange? Did I hear you're changing something? All seems fine now so I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for the opportunity to win your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLoving change! The only change I don't do is changing up my diet drastically. (food allergies) This is a change I'll gladly embrace, though!
ReplyDeleteI tend to shy away from change, but usually only because I'm afraid of what might be next. It's like being afraid of the dark, which I can admit to. Usually, though, the change is for the better and causes inspiration. Sometimes it even frees me of my inertia problem, but then gets me going so full force that I have the opposite inertia problem! ACK! But yes, I love change, I just fear it.
ReplyDeleteLike many others above, I can be leery of change, but once I see it, I'm in! More inspiration, more lovlies to drool over, more wonderful places to visit. Bring it on!
ReplyDeletethanks!
I like change. Looking forward to what it will be. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteThe only constant in life is change, so bring it on! I love anything that inspires to try new things. Thanks for all you do!

ReplyDeleteI'm one of those who resists change as strongly as possible BUT, I don't refuse change which is the biggest difference. I follow along without complaining, just dragging my feet at first but then I come around. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome group of goodies you have for some lucky person. Since you asked, for sure the baby sized batting is something I need very much. My next project is a quilt for my Granddaughter who was just born a few days before Valentine's Day so that would be great for me. The Peltex would also be used very quickly as I want to attempt making a diaper bag and since I want a nice body to the bag so it stands, the Peltex would be just perfect. The other things I'm not positive right at this moment what I'd use them for, but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to figure out where I'd use those.
THANK YOU Samm for all the organization and I'm sure ALOT of work you have spent getting all the past months up and running for all of us to follow. It's been just wonderful seeing all the awesome projects and even more so, the excellent tutorials on how to make so many of those projects. (This actually is the one thing I will miss in the new direction we're heading here. Those tutorials have been SO very helpful for those of us who are still learning (or re-learning in my case) although inspiration in seeing others projects is always good too.
BUT ~ I know you are in need of a break because of your schooling you are working on so you can get perfect grades. :) Good luck with your classes Samm!! I'm sure once you are done with those we will all benefit from those.
Sometimes Change is scary, but I know it won't be scary here! You always provide us with so much inspiration and sometimes even entertainment!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great blog!
Change is good! :)
ReplyDeleteI love change! It is the diversity of projects that keeps us coming back for more, right?? I also can't wait for the red, white, and blue theme! There are so many holidays in the US when something made from these colors would be perfect! President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day....It really is a versatile color combination!
ReplyDeleteChange is good, it keeps us young, keeps our minds thinking, keeps us dreaming on what is coming next, puts money in our pocket, Oh Wait! That's the wrong kind of change. I embrace change, if you can't, you can't live in today's world!! I'm done, but can't wait for the announcement, can we have more of a hint, Samm?????
ReplyDeleteI truly believe that change is good. I look at all change with a critical eye to see where God is leading me. Enjoy the break. Looking forward to journeying down the new path.
ReplyDeleteLeslie, in Paducah, KY at the moment.
I'm very excited to see what you've been working on! I'm sure you'll be so very busy despite your holiday :) I feel so grateful to be on the receiving end of your creativity and hard work.
ReplyDeleteChange is good. It keeps us learning and adapting.
ReplyDeleteThe older I get the more difficult change is...but I keep pushing (and no, I'm not ancient but some days feel it!!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway
Change keeps us young, at least I hope!
ReplyDeleteI think of change as an adventure. Thanks to Madame Samm, I think most of us have learned something new or changed the way we do something, for the better. Without change you don't grow. ;-> Toni Anne
ReplyDeleteI'm not so happy with change!
ReplyDeleteChange is great :) Enjoy your break to refresh!
ReplyDeleteI had a sign posted in my workspace "Nothing endures but change."
ReplyDeleteI grew up a military brat. The only constant was change. Wouldn't change a thing about it, however. Change: it charges my batteries.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to find out what is coming! I have been following for a while now. I have loved it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what the change will bring! Such a mystery... :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of the new products and would love to sample them. Change is good, but I think it would be difficult to improve on your site. I am so glad I ran across this site and have made several items from your tuts. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteMadame Samm, I embrace any change you care to make. I am happy with you as the lead dog making the decisions and me following (even when that means there is no change of view for me).
ReplyDeleteI love change. Thanks for all of the work you do to keep things interesting and inspirational.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say, "I love change!", but no, it's really hard for me. And...I'd love to blame it on my age, but I'm sorry to say it's always been part of my nature. I have learned to trust you, Madam Samm, so whatever you do I KNOW it will be good. Jane's a peach. Hmmmm, peach flavored coffee, I have not tried it but think it sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteI love change. Sew excited to see what you have up your sleeve. :) Thanks for the great month of inspiration and for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeletewhen one is of a certain age, changes are no longer a big deal - except - when a new project comes up ... charges up the old batteries again.

Change is good but you've just set us up like an old fashioned cliff hanger where the damsel thinks she is safe but then something happens.... and we need to wait until the next chapter comes out!
ReplyDeleteI love change sometimes, but sometimes I like the old fashioned ways too!
ReplyDeletemissysaprons@gmail.com
Yes! I love change in the world of quilting. And I love your blog because you are always introducing changes by way of providing tutorials that teach us new techniques for "old things". As I get older (over 60!) I find that I am experimenting more with my sewing than when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteWonderful prizes in your thoughtful giveaway--the lucky winner will be very happy. Good luck with all your future changes :).
I have been known to resist change, but find if I do change my horizons open up . I guess the older I get I throw caution to the wind and just go for

ReplyDeleteSome change is good and allows us to shine; I like that sort of change. Over the years I've changed from a seamstress to a knitter, a spinner and now to a quilter. I still sew clothes and knit, but the changes that have made me look at other crafts have benefited me.

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine blogland without you Mdme Samm. Change is good when it comes along with you and your ideas. I can't imagine that any one of your followers will balk at anything you put in front of us. Your leadership and uncanny ability to start a trend of educational and fun posts by people who love you and follow you and work so hard to get the opportunity to do a post in a select series, is what sets you apart from all those other trenders. I wish you well with the new path you are forging. I can't wait to see what it is. Thank you for all you do. I for one will be checking daily to see "Whas Up"
