  1. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT! I mean really, I have to have a little bit of everything: pinks, purples, greens, prints, solids, yellows and blues....

  2. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT because I can never have enough fabric and even though I say I won't buy any more fabric until I use up what I have....I still buy more. My friends and daughter shop my sewing room for fabric.

  3. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT because what is better than fabrics? I have a simple answer: Nothing! I love the colors, texture, different designs, you name it.

  8. I am a serious fabric adddict and I love it. But with all the fabric at home, you can be sure the one you need to finish a project is not among it. So I need to get more. Great explanation my husbund says.

  9. I'm a serious fabric addict because I just. Can't. Stop. Even though there are baggies with fabric and patterns stuffed into my cabinets, I still see more that I just. Must. Have. LOL

  10. I am a serious fabric addict .... because when I packed ugly fabric scraps for school to use this afternoon, I wanted to ask if I could get them back after the project...

  11. Bright colored fabrics, asian prints, stonehenge,etc.-- these fabrics call to me, then start screaming like the Sirens,
"Stroke me! Buy me! Take me with you! You need me! You really want me!" and having a very weak will power, I cave in. Of course the best excuse is, I'll probably not find this again!

  12. I am a serious fabric addict and proud of it. The way I look at it, I could be worse...I could want new clothes, shoes, food, makeup, tanning salon, but I am happiest surrounded with my fabrics and the ideas that recent purchase provides for me!

  13. I am a serious fabric addict when I dig thru the trash after classes to find the bits that others threw away - how dare they. Most bring a zip baggy and put them in and give me the baggies, but a few haven't learned and I have to rescue.

  14. I am a serious fabric addict and I even have a "pusher." My CaliforniaMom keeps my habit fed by shipping me fabric- in fact I have fabric for 7 quilts on its way to my house as we speak! I went to her house in CA last June and came home with 12 BIG boxes of fabric from her stash! I do share my fabric with my sister, sometimes! Of course since she has two quilt shops within walking distance of her house- I can always replenish my stash after sharing! :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT! I wake up at 4:30 and search e-bay for an hour before I have to get ready for work. I ususally look through fabric shops on my lunch break and when I get home I cant wait to get in my sewing room and play with the lovely stuff i have. I hate to cut into a new bundle, but seriously I have to. When I start to get low I buy more of the same pattern so I can never run out. Its a very bad addiction at times. I race to the mailbox everyday to see what has arrived!

  19. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT! Come in my sewing room and see for yourself! LOL! I need intervention! But you'll have to catch me first!

  21. I am a serious fabric addict because I think every new line that comes out was made just for me! I rationalize that I need every piece that I buy for this quilt or maybe that quilt!

  23. I am a serious fabric addict because I'm in love with color and design. The sad thing is sometimes I can't cut into the fabric because I love it so much. But it does bring me joy just looking at it until I figure out what to do with it!

  24. I am a serious fabric addict because I cannot throw away even the tiniest piece because I amy need it. My husband says I need counseling. I work at an addiction counseling agency.

  25. I am a serious fabric addict , cause I have decided that all the fabric I buy now is ok, because when I retire in a few years I might not be able to afford to buy more and I need it to enjoy my retirement time.
The doll would be a fun addition to my collection.

  26. I am a serious fabric addict because I have a hard time cutting my favorite fabrics. I like to fold and refold them and pet them. I keep scraps from my favorite fabrics in a special box. No scrap too small!

  27. I am a serious fabric addict - I have jars of the tiniest scraps, and boxes of old fabric from my mother and grandmother that I "will" do something with someday!

  29. I am a serious fabric addict because I am constantly enamored with all the possibilites...if I buy just this fat quarter, or just this charm pack. In fact, buying fabric was what I gave up for Lent. A fellow quilter felt sorry for my Lenten abstinence that on her last trip to the fabric store, she bought me a fat quarter and then showed me her new fabric so I could pet and admire it. Am I sick or what? Thanks for the chance to win!!

  33. Hello. My name is Karen and I am a serious fabric addict. I have gone to great lengths to sneek fabric purchases into the house. I have hidden fabric more successfully than I have ever been able to hide Christmas presents...especially because the best hiding places are reserved for fabric. I find myself fondling fabric where ever I am. (I really have to apologize to the woman who was ahead of me in the grocery line.) Please don't put me out of my misery. I love my addiction and have no intention of stopping.

  34. I am a serious fabric addict and I blame my husband! Why? Cause everything's his fault...always!

  35. The other day I spotted a stranger walking into the grocery store ahead of me and I just blurted out,"I love those pants, the fabric colours are fantastic!" She responded that her pants were really comfortable. I had t shake my head because I was referring to the 'fabric' and also thinking it would be great in a quilt!!! If I do that all the time... am I a fabric addict? Is this confidential? hehehe

  36. I am a serious fabric addict simply because I have a closet in my office/sewing space full of fabric. But enough is enough and this year is use it up year. (Like that is even possible.)

  43. I am an addict. And I don't want a cure. The summer after my freshman year in college (1969), I worked at a Baptist conference center in NC. My paycheck for the week was $5! Yes, $5. The center manager's wife found out that I loved to sew and she took me to one of the textile mill outlets. The outlet was strictly for family members of an employee. Her friend (the employee) had no family who sewed, so she was given his pass to shop there. Fabric was the ends of runs & a few seconds. It was sold by the pound. You can guess that my $5 didn't go far, so my parents sent money for me to buy fabric and necessities that weren't provided by the conference center. I bought and bought! I sent home fabric any time that someone from my home church came to the center. I believe that I still have a few piece of the fabric stuck way back in the closet. I guess I should dig it out and see how it has faired for over 40+yrs! My name is Beckie & I am an addict!!

  44. I am a serious fabric addict because there's no end to my stashing, even when I don't have another inch of space to store it, I can never walk away from that beautiful new piece in the shop..., and of course I better get a little extra just in case...Even when I promise I'm going to do better, I can't help myself, lol! Anyways, is there anything in life more satisfying than getting that little extra yard of fabric? Plus, it's cheaper than therapy.

  45. over 40 years of fabric addiction and still going strong. Use fabric to quilt, construct garments, and cannot bear to toss scraps so I make artsy note cards, with not a piece going to waste! Nothing better than the natural high after finding the right combination of colors for a new project! Adore precuts such as the one you are giving away...So many possibilities!

  46. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT..I have been for most of my adult life. My grandmother was a wonderful seamstress, she would look at dresses and come home and make one for me. I learned to sew on her sewing machine, I know she was with me as I sat and learned by trial and error. The feel of fabric is like no other, if it feels soft, silky and the colors and design are wonderful...I must possess it. There is hardly ever a plan when I buy the fabric, I just have to HAVE IT!!

  47. I am a serious fabric addict. I even buy other peoples scraps at garage sales, bring it home, wash it and iron each little piece. I just love to pet each piece.

because I just have to have a bit of any fabric that I like and really often have no idea of what it will become. I also have the Fabric Addict pattern - unfortunately still on my to do list!

  56. I am a serious fabric addict as my closets for fabrics can't close anymore and I cleaned them out only a month ago! If I see fabric I just need to have a piece, even if it isn't suitable for quilting. It gets my creative gen activated and I hardly can sleep with all those tumbling iseas in my head. I don't want to think what I will do if I try to kick off cold turkey way!

  57. I am a serious fabric addict. I have fabric that is more than 10 years old that I keep meaning to use, and yet I buy more. I cruise the web in search of fabric. I stalk my local quilt shop in search of fabric...oh help!

  59. I AM A SERIOUS FABRIC ADDICT because when I think about it and what I do sometimes to get fabric in my stash that makes me an addict. I don't know about you but sometimes I just can't bring all this fabric in my house for my DH to see how much comes in so I become inventive on ways that I bring it in like mixing it in the grocery bags, or tucking it under my blouse. Now this one is a secret but I will tell here..Awhile back I had spent my allowance that I have for fabric per month but I went into my local LQS and saw this wonderful moda fabric that I just had to have, so I bought it and then had to have a creative way to get it pass the DH. I did not have any bags with me that day so that was out but what I didn't have either was a bra on so since they were 2- 1 yd pieces I just made a bra out of them and walked into the house and casually went upstairs and there ya' go. So that is how I know I am a serious Fabric addict and it is called the things you do for fabric. Thanks Amy it is a lovely gift and thanks to Madame Samm for your wonderful gift of friendship.

Is there anything better than FEELING wonderful quilting fabric?! Seriously, my name is Elaine and I'm an addict!!

I can't resist fabric. Especially if it is on sale. My sewing room has a chest of drawers. Stuffed. a closet with shelves. Stuffed.
The floor - well, you must be very careful trying to walk around in there. Now we are turning our last spare bedroom into a "storage facility". Send help!

I have so many tubs of fabric that I can hardly get into my sewing room any more.

A couple of years ago I started buying polka dot fabrics to add to my stash. I am now the proud owner of over 850 different polka dot fabrics. I love it!

After cleaning out my stash, and organizing it and purchasing a new "stash storage system," I still had bags and bags of the stuff and no where to put it! My mister, freak that he is, suggested I give it away...but that would be like giving away my children or pets...I told him I'd rather give HIM away! Let's put it this way, you know how a dog cannot pass a fire hydrant without peeing on it? Well, I can't pass a fabric shop without buying something. But at least I don't pee on it! xo, Nan
