I cross stitched a couple of kits I found in my mother's old sewing basket. One was an initial in a garland of yellow flower and the other was a teeny tiny bouquet of daffodils. The daffs are so small they are about the size of a 5 pence coin.
I'm still stitching the borders of my valentine's quilt .

Current projects are all dresses. Some headed for Africa--6 there so far. Some for Easter outfits for local homeless children--6 in that set also. I have sewn a few more that don't yet have desingated destinations. Have not sewn little dresses in 40 years or so!

I just did some embroidery on a quilt top applique. I love hand work so it was a joy to do. I don't like using hoops so would be VERY interested in trying the stabilizers.

Yesterday I was able to spend several hrs (so lucky to find that chunk of time) to start putting together the final border for 2011's TQS BOM.

I am stitching Christmas trees, getting a head start on this year's Christmas, not. It was to be done last year.
I am currently creating 2 sets of curtains! They are GINORMOUS, covering one window at 56 inches wide and one at 88 inches wide, both of 'em are supposed to finish at 72" long. And, inserted toward the bottom is a 10" wide panel of white, with embroideries all along it, and the 2 insert seams trimmed in jumbo red ric-rac. Oh, and they are LINED with thermo/blackout fabric. It's really quite the project! And while I'm doing them, I've done a couple of appliance cozies for Kitchenaid mixers. And an apron and potholder. And matching towel. Quilts? Oh, yeah, I did my Feb. block for our Saturday Sampler group. Other than that, not much! Thank you for offering such a FABulous Pellon giveaway!!

The last thing I sewed was plastic bags, using a tutorial I found on line. Not sold on it, though, but it was fun to try!
Today I stitched together a boy's baby quilt for my college roommate's new grandson. It's so cut, but they've birthed 3 children in 3 years!
I just finished a little knit dress for my granddaughter this morning, and I delivered it. She knew when I got out of the car that whatever was in that bag was for her! Did I say she's rotten?
