It's a GIVEAWAY to keep us STABLE! and the winner is......


If you sew, quilt, design, you must have used PELLON

of stabilizer, interfacing, backing....you can call it anything 
you like BUT from this day forward if you want

  23. My daughter was going on a trip last summer and wanted a big purse/bag that that she could pack in her suitcase and take out and use when she got to her destination. I hadn't made anything like it in years. I was really pleased with how it turned out. I'm using the leftover fabric to make a table runner right now.

  30. Oh, to be kept stable.... That would be an accomplishment these days! But now, for my little stitcheries, I back them with stabilizer before stitching. It keeps them crisp and hides the threads well hidden on the back of the piece. Have a blessed day!!

  33. as most everything I do is small and practical, I use some sort of fusible in most everything I do.

    Lots of purses, electronic cozies, small accesseries--all get a bit of Pellon product somewhere along the line. Some get more than one product included.

  52. Talk about a timely giveaway!! Yesterday I finished the last of 10 walker bags for the ladies at my mom's assisted living center. They liked the one I made for mom because it has a lot of body to it thanks to Pellon's peltex! It gives them a lot of body and they don't flop around on the walker.

  79. I Love Pellon too! I first started using Pellon(decades too) when I first learned how to sew at 13. I made all my Pippie's(French Grandfather) Ties. My most recent use of it was at Christmas time when I made both my Daughters a set of Fabric Buckets. I would love to win this nice package and make a set of Buckets for me too!!

  107. Last project? I made about a dozen "Raspberry Ripple" purses for myself and for presents. It got to the point where I finally just bought the rest of what was on the bolt. Purses use up a lot of this stuff! I would love to try different weights to make quilts come alive...I haven't fallen in love with applique yet (except for kids' clothes), but I have a project designed that may just do it for me.

  116. Oh I had a great one for their Wonder Under, one of my WIPS! But Fusible Interfacing. That would have been to stabilize the knits when I dreamed up making quilts from baby clothes. Funny as in haha annoying the first time I bought the wrong thing only to learn that we use interfacing to stabilize knits, but stabilizer for embroidery.

  186. I made several tote bags and they used the fusible fleece. I also put the lightweight stabilizer on my embroidery pieces.

  192. I back all my stitching with a light weight fusible interfacing. Just finished my birdie stitchery BOM quilt top. I also use a heavier weight when making bags.

  193. I've been using Pellon fusible interfacing when making purses. I have made 1 for my sister, 1 for her friend, and 1 for my Mum. Sadly I haven't made 1 for me yet. Now might be the time to make 1 for me. :) Barb

  194. I used iron on stabilizer with my appliques on my place mats that I finished sewing about two weeks ago. Today I ironed a piece on the back of a t-shirt to get ready to machine embroider. I use it lots for different projects as I am into quilting, machine embroidery and making clothes for myself and my grandkids.

  200. I used Pellon for some robot/octopus/helicopter applique on baby onesies. Stretchable interfacing? That's crazy talk. I'm excited to see that. I'd love to try their stabilizer. I was thinking of making fabric boxes to put things in.
