  4. Oooh Madame Samm! How exciting. I'm a recent follower of your blog and have had a long term desire to get serious about quilting. (It's in my genes but I've just never had the tools or the time to commit to it.) August 1st could be my lucky day! Looking forward to hearing what you've got in store for us!

I will tell you what is exciting, your enthusiasm for all you Madame Samm. I follow you on your blog, I have no idea how you do it all, but I am very excited to be included. Thank you very much Betty in Kentucky

  6. Hmmm... this is cool :D I tried quilting when I was 12. Didnt work. But I started it again when I saw a post about hexagon quilts on this blog :)

I've been tracing my own paper templates and hand-sewing them (no other way to do it!)

But I want to try traditional quilting, I have an old sewing machine which works purdy well, I dont really know how to machine quilt though, I want to try um, what was it called? I saw it on youtube, it was like, free-motion quilting or something I cant remember it exactly xD haha.

But yeah, I oughtta get my mom to quilt ;D

  13. Sounds like fun! A month ago I gave my sister my mother's old sewing machine and she is starting to really get in to sewing. Last weekend I taught her how to make potato bag and quilt the fabric, she said "Look, I'm quilting!"
