  118. Good morning Madame Samm! It's a beautiful morning here...well, it's gray and raining and windy but I woke up so that makes it a beautiful morning. :) Sometimes we forget to be thankful for the little things, like waking up and toothbrushes and leaves on the deck but today I want to remember those things as well as the bigger ones. I love Kim Diehl's new book and bought it the day it came out. I now have all of hers! I'd love to win the fabric because I have a couple of Crab-Apple Designs (my favorite designer!) patterns that call for those 30s fabrics...especially the one with birds and teacups. :) blessings, marlene

I rarely make a comment, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be included in this wonderful giveaway--30's fabrics are a favorite and I love all of Kim Diehl's designs.
    Thank You!

  126. I have been a follower and a contributer! I love this place!

I am thankful for Billie Lauper. She designed the first quilt I bought. And I did that because my mom was depressed, and I wanted her to come stay with me for a while but she wouldn't so I had to invent a "need". I called mom and asked her to help me sew something. And then I needed something to sew! Found a Who's On My Quilt pattern with a dog on it and she agreed to come help me. It saved my mom's life that day I found Billie. My quilt is on the back of her book as well. So that is my 15 minutes of fame!

Glad you are having a give away, love them!

The designer I am most thankful for is Ryan McKenna, because while I've never purchased any of her fabrics (yet) when I see them they speak to my soul and the routes to convey that in a quilt become clear instantly when I see her fabrics and patterns.

  135. I am a follower and do not know the name of any fabric designer, but am thankful that they exist! I love fabric! I adore fabric! What would my life be without fabric? SO, thank you to all fabric designers. I don't know you by name, but thank you for your countless hours in the workshop coming up with beautiful designs for us to enjoy. Most of my fabric is at least 30 years old. so most of the fabric designers have probably gone onto the fabric design shop in the sky, but thanks to you too. Sometimes I wonder...what were you thinking? But, I still love you! Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful today for time to get to sew :)
